What on earth is going on in here?  My goodness.  hfaes, while your defence of your family member is admirable, I would advise not taking things people say on here (or indeed anywhere online) too personally.  I am sure Wout is a lovely and intelligent man, and no doubt he is a very good footballer to have achieved what he has.  Many fans however feel let down by his play and his attitude at times, so they get a little upset, and dare I say over dramatic.  Sometimes it is best for everyone if a player moves on.  Would he not be better off where he is appreciated?  A new club would pay him too. 

 

Coming on here and calling all footballs fans hooligans and making out they are stupid makes you look ignorant and bigoted.  Like many activities, football attracts it fair of violent thugs, but the vast majority are good and perfectly intelligent people.  I am sure I could find examples of poor behaviour in your exalted academic circles too, from lecturers taking advantage of vulnerable students to academics plagiarising others work for publication.  So in summary, ignore the daft kids of here and go and have a nice cup of tea.

They don't know your family on any personal level and are venting there frustration following seasons of struggle and Wout Faes is part of that team has been here during this period and therefore is going to get some criticism.

Thing I don't understand, is if Wout has an above average IQ and has aspirations of working with some of the greatest mathematician's and physicist's in the world, why does he struggle so much in judging the flight of a football?!?
