He's a bit cavalier, likes a good tackle, shows leadership qualities, possible future captain material and he is already en-course to become a fans favourite.  What could go wrong?

Had that effort gone in, it would have been ruled offside by VAR. the lad was clearly ahead of play before the ball was played.

It wasn't offside.

But we didn't score and at 1-0 to Forest it would have been a different game.  Calm down :kissing:

Bet you're fun at parties.

Says the one with the negative miserable post !

I think that the way Wout Faes plays remines me of Cags very much a year or 2 ago!

Will get an odd red card and take’s no pensioners, maybe Cags and Wout together could be something special.

has anyone mentioned the fact that he actually likes to play forward. what a breath of fresh air, he actually runs forward with the ball, and picks a decent pass. gets our players going forwards instead of backwards.

Ah sorry thought it was referring to the first half one where he hit the post.

He looked solid. Cult hero? Behave! 😂

I think that is supposed to be an ironic nod to the old Soyuncu thread. Give it time and he may well become one though. For me evans fit and in form is still our best but as age catches up with him I’d like to see Wout partnered with Cags if we get the chance. P

Looks a good player and adds a bit of Steel to our otherwise soft team. Something we've badly needed. He just needs to be careful with the wind up merchants so he doesn't get sent off.

He reminds me a lot of Soyuncu before he lost his confidence

Faes and Cags really should be the CB pairing. The opposing strikers wouldn’t score because that pair would most probably eat them…
