Did feel we needed a back 5 with their front 3.

When Wilf constantly shakes his head or refuses to make himself available for the ball (maybe not such a bad thing) it’s like being a man down. So often others lost the ball because nearest team mate Wilf wasn’t showing for it. 
Some cracking goals but Wards strange take on positioning does leave a lot to aim at.

Justin needs reminding that his nominal role is to be a defender.

Feel sorry for Madders.

What can you say after that game?

 

We did well at times when attacking but the result says it all.


Defensively we are hopeless.

This is the only solution open to them. They can't bring in more players - there is talent - it's just time for new voice - preferably an aggressive one.

I can't really see any way we can stay up if things stay as they are. Change the manager now and hope we can get to January not too far adrift.  The only positive I can see is that by then we will have played fewer games than in a usual season and we will need to bring in a couple of loanees at least then. You never know I suppose but right now I'd say we're as good as down and if we do drop, we won't be coming back quickly especially with the complete financial mess we seem to have got ourselves into.
