You can add Fernando Santos to the list of dull cautious managers ruining national teams at this world cup. 

 

When you think how good this Portuguese team could be and he's playing a narrow midfield diamond with two holding midfielders, one of which (the biggest donkey of the lot) is his wide right. Honking. 

 

Got the most explosive young talent currently in European football just sat on the bench.

Portugal are alright these days. Minus Pepe. They got great talents, Rafael Leao, Ruben Dias, Bernardo Silva, Cancelo,  Bruno Fernándes, Joao Felix. Too bad that Santos is another football terrorist.

 

Uruguay are natural shithouse experts. It's a sport to them.

Great players maybe but half of them are also great actors.
