Vardy could have had two, those misses aren’t on Rodgers 

I feel like anyone could play devils advocate here.

Let’s say that Vards is lacking match sharpness like anyone. But his legs aren’t as fast as they were.

 

We have two options at the moment for a single striker system. Play a slow ageing Vardy or a very poor Daka. And all without a firing Maddison either.

 

So why not just play Vardy and Nacho together? Have some innovation and instead of same shit different day try two up top.

 

In a one off cup game especially, I’d rather see us gamble than flog the same old dead horse. It’s boring and hopeless.
