The board don't know about football, they know how to run a traditional business.

It's not even a traditional business. They know how to run a monopoly.

To be fair everyone who sits around me that's always responded with 'well who do we replace him with' have come round to the idea he has to go. So I'd suggest the tide outside of foxestalk has changed. We just need to be vocal at the actual match. Rather than just boos at full time/half time.

The problem with boos is that the whole team gets it then, I think it has to be far more Rodgers targeted.

A friend of mine works for a sports consultancy and he said that Club's and Manager's are increasingly making decisions on XG not outcome i.e. the justification for keeping a manager in post is that the XG indicates they are playing well and its just that they are on a losing streak through bad luck not bad management - looking at our current XG stats we are bottom six. That's accurate as far as I have seen performance ways this season i.e. we are in a genuine relegation battle and have been all along. The pre-Christmas run of good results were the anomaly not the norm/expectation. The Club have to realise this and make Jan signings to strengthen the squad - sacking BR alone will not be enough given the paucity of our squad and its lack of resilience.

Our xg is awful!

Honestly... just don't go to the games. I know it is painful, but it has to be done. And boo the s*** out of them at full time.

I was travelling from Suffolk to a few home games last season, my uncle would let me have his sons ticket when he can't be arsed... which has been most games over the last 18 months, but I have stopped going, waste of time and money. He has stopped going as well (although more for personal reasons).

When the attendances start to dwindle, they might finally get the message... but for some reason, the same people near us who wanted Puel out early on, still think Brendan is lovely man... :frusty:

Are they the same mob that were at Gillingham at the weekend?

Don't you just hate these new fan types since we won the league, so Impacient, don't understand what supporting a club of our size means. 😂

A club of our size has relied on fight and character on the pitch at the very least.

When Leicester fans don't see fight then they have every right to show their disdain for the players and manager.

I bet the vast majority who are not happy with the way things are going have been fans for much longer than since we won the league

I've been going since 1990

We won't. As a PL entity, we are prob worth 400m or so ATM. Even with the debt.

Relegated, we have huge unserviceable debts and an unaffordable wage bill and no parachute money (as we have already cashed that in)....but essentially, we could find a buyer tomorrow to take all that on if the owners waived a sale fee - which they'd have to if they couldn't finance 2 seasons in the championship

...the loan would be secured against the final position payment, that means if the worse thing happened and the club became liquidated, then that money goes to the company who gave us the loan, no other creditor has any claims on it!!!

That still leaves the actual money from the final position available to be used for running the club.

The loan would be set up for a term, perhaps 5 years where we pay £20m a year in order to pay it back (amortisation).

If that was the case he'd have been gone a long, long time ago. Our xG numbers have pointed to a bad coach with some good attackers bailing him out making us look better than we truly have been. The leveller this season is he now chooses to play the leagues worst goalkeeper as well so we've started letting loads in, even if we are still scoring more than we 'should' be.

Lose on Sat and Union FS will likely do something at the next home game I'd imagine.

I hope they do, it needs something as we are sleepwalking to relegation if this continues. Anyone defending Rodgers and saying it isn’t his tactics etc only need to look at this season to see the damage he is causing and also what this team/squad can achieve when set up correctly.

Our form at the very start and since the resumption has been honking and coincides with us playing Brendan Ball, our only decent run of form was when we played with higher intensity and more as a counter attacking team  all of sudden our attacking players were a threat and looked confident whilst we had a better defensive team structure and we were winning games in some style, however this meant a shift from Brendan’s philosophy and instead of controlling possession we were getting the ball forward in 4/5 passes rather than the slow and turgid possession based style he prefers, so why has he reverted back and why should we as fans accept that our results and premier league status should be at risk because Brendan is more driven by his ideology and his reputation than getting results playing a style that doesn’t fit his philosophy.

Maybe so honest honesty flags are needed.

Don’t think the club or powers the be would appreciate brutal honesty though.

Start a chant then. "Brendan Brendan give us a wave" and when he does, boo him. With that said though, i don't think i've ever heard a chant for Rodgers, one Brendan Rodgers or anything, even though he's delivered us an FA cup, i'm not surprised he looks ready to fvck off.
