Popular Post EnderbyFox Posted 16 January 2023 Popular Post Posted 16 January 2023 To me, this feels like a Benkovic type signing when what we really need is a Huth type This lads got potential but is he going to come in and instantly make our defence more solid? 8
Nolucklcfc Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 It’s aerially that I hope he makes a difference. I’ve never been so unenthusiastic when we have a corner

TeaMen Tom Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 He's probably more in line with their price range - i.e. cheap. And he's young with apparently, upside. But as has been noted, maybe not much short term help, which they desperately need.
brookfox Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Absolutely no idea if he’s any good but pleased to see us go back to signing potential. We’ve got a massive rebuilding job to do, and we need balance, but having a young squad who can develop together feels like the blue print we should take. Working quite well for Arsenal currently. Only risk is it’s predicated on us avoiding relegation and signing potential not just young and cheap! 2

STUHILL Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 I'd be happy if this was our 4th choice CB that could be given time to adapt and thrown some games here and there for the rest of the season, but we need a starting CB and we are in a bloody relegation battle! We will not stay up with Amartey and Faes as our starting CB pairing. 2
Simmo86 Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Let’s try and not write him off before he’s kicked a ball 1

KFS Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 he’s better than Faes, just look at the first action clip
FoxOnWheels Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Anything reliable to say we’ve actually signed him

Keep playing loads of friendlies.
Corky Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Know nothing about him but has the sort of name that if he was signing for Bournemouth or Leeds this place would be slagging us off for not signing him so get this shit done and on the road!! 2
Haywood_6 Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 About time!! He seems like a good buy! All we need now a goalkeeper, a right winger, a striker, a left back... Oh and a new manager

I would play him over Amartey, who isn't a CB and has made countless mistakes, and I'd probably play him over the rest of the shit on our books. Evans likely goes back in, or we play a 3, once he's fit.
Brainy Posted 16 January 2023 Posted 16 January 2023 Slag off our recruitment all you like but if there's a position we haven't disappointed in signing players lately, its centre back
