Is that the left winger so we can drop barnes when he's shit, or do we just play with one winger again but on the other side? Not expecting you to answer, just fits with your post.

Just wait for him to burst on the scene and excite the fans, which in turn absolutely infuriates Rodgers who decides that he's "not training well enough" so has to be dropped for Praet. If we have an option to buy him that can be activated anytime before now and June why didn't we just sign him? Rudkin and Co are bound to let this run into June before we attempt to sign him then he will end up somewhere else. Surely this way is better as we can make the same decision to buy but after actually seeing how he does for a few months. 1

Popular Post fox_favourite Posted 29 January 2023 Popular Post Posted 29 January 2023 From my point of view - I don’t care about the ins and out of his contract/loan etc… that is for the club to worry about. We just need to hope that this sparks new life into our attack and puts more creativity going forward, at the moment it’s flat as a pancake. I hope he’s a success here and helps us stay up!! Over everything that is the most important now. 6

Forgot to put a reminder on the calendar entry type thing.

Something about the whole deal stinks. What do OL fans make of him? ....that's usually a good barometer. It probably says a lot about me, but the signature I'm waiting for is Souttar. Maguire was v v good for us and I get similar vibes for this guy. Since Laurent Blanc has come into Lyon, he’s tinkered with his formation. In some recent games he’s gone without wingers and played two up front. If their deals this week are anything to go by, then he seems set on playing a 3-4-1-2, Tete is never going to start in a formation like that. Tete’s form has been indifferent lately, but that’s coincided with Lyon’s poor form and the fact he’s been on the bench in some games. If he can replicate his early season form at Leicester, then we’ll have a top quality player on our hands 👍🏻 1

In football the term loan is used but there are various ways in the contractual sense on how it works. Tete is being paid And that obligation to pay is with someone. That someone is now us. (All assumptions) if Shaktar have triggered the FM suspension due to the war, that includes suspension of liability as well as benefit. That suspension may have been lifted on the basis that Lyon “take it over” ie assign the benefit to Lyon. As part of that agreement, Shaktar and Lyon have entered into an option to acquire his services on specific terms. Lyon have now assigned the entire benefit to us. Shaktar still own the reversionary benefit of the players registration but for this deal, they’ve done their part and Lyon have simply passed it over. We’ve paid them the consideration of £3.5m for the privilege of the loan and the option. But Stan - I’m using assumptions and knowledge to come up with an educated guess. There are plenty of ins and outs I simply don’t know to explain the deal fully. Let the boy be a star and we can worry about this in May (worry without reason as we can influence it lol). Fair enough, understand it's assumptions and not privy to the intricacies! Thanks for the info/explanation though

We only need to squeeze a blistering 15 games out of him. My focus is purely on survival. After that, it's proper rebuild time and next gen LCFC 2
Long Eaton Fox Posted 29 January 2023 Posted 29 January 2023 He may only be here for 6 months but as my old friend Lord Tennyson always said "Better to have loved and lost then never loved at all" 2
Popular Post ozvaldo Posted 29 January 2023 Popular Post Posted 29 January 2023 They really should have had Big Susan lying back, legs spread eagle with Rudders giving her a full Brazilian wax for the announcement video. We’ve missed a trick here. 8

RowlattsFox Posted 29 January 2023 Posted 29 January 2023 I don't think he will be here next season. Either he will be shit and we never see him, or he'll be good and someone else will sign him.

He can play either wing or so l have read and if we sign jack Harrison that hopefully gives us options on both wings (options as in someone not sh!t 90% of the time on the left). * Expecting pelters for the last comment as l know its more like 95% but I'm feeling generous today in a Brazilian way. 1

And a similar loan-with-a-view-to-buy deal. Hopefully this one pans out in the same way.
TJB-fox Posted 29 January 2023 Posted 29 January 2023 It would take someone special to join a new, foreign league and come into this current set up and excel. All in 6 months. I’m hoping but not expecting! 1

( Amartey )** Castagna Iversen ** depends if we want to play 4 at the back. Then who do we sacrifice.. seems one of the front 2..so we’ll set up the front 6… Nacho Maddison Barnes. Tete Tielemans KDH
