He's been bloody awful for the amount paid. Best for all parties for him to move on.

Never quite good enough in those key moments in games - particularly during our pushes for top 4.  But his block did set up the FA Cup final goal, so he's not all that bad, just never a consistent top level performer.

Ultimately his fee was not something he could live upto but it’s not his fault, I don’t think you can really question his work ethic as he always tried his best, but it just didn’t really settle for him like it did the season before we signed him. 
 

My only concern is does this really solve a problem for us? Sure his wages are off the books but if Tete needs some time to adjust we are even shorter in a position we needed to strengthen.

Can attribute some of his flaws to not being utilised to his strengths but think the majority of the problems with him were not being up to the required standard. All the best to him.

Not his biggest fan and he was our weak link when he was in the side, but it was one of the greatest ever Leicester sides.

 

An FA Cup winner and always tried- shouldn't be leaving with any hard feelings from our fanbase. Not his fault we paid £30m for him.

Never quite worked out, good technical player and he did OK, put the effort in when called on. probably do well at Real Betis.  Good luck to him

No revisionism please. He was crap on the right, even worse upfront and nowhere near creative enough to play as a 10.

 

The opportunity cost of spending £30m on him was absolutely huge. If we’d signed an actual winger for that money we’d have made the CL at least once.

Waste of money and shoved out wide for most of his time here. Sad it never quite worked out as he was decent technically. 

 

PL hat trick and a good part of the FA Cup win though.
