Tetê the most overrated player, ever

That has come even quicker than I thought. He is a good player but Brazilian is not a synonym for genius.

Does anyone think that Rashford’s shoulder is ahead of his foot?

Amazing that the ref didn’t even see that as a booking, red or yellow.

Yeah the ref is so well positioned and just looks  right at it and thinks nothing of it. Disgraceful. Then mendy gets booked for a clean challenge

Awful angle for the VAR too. Surely there was a better camera angle available?

Drew the lines in the position that made sure he was onside. Corrupt as ****.

Thought we were good value first half, terrible the second. Still reckon we'll beat the teams we're meant to and be fine.

Danny Ward needs taking out the back mind and Soumare delivered the worst cameo I've ever seen.

Not gonna be overly bothered about today.

Not really - looks like his foot was furthest forward to me.

Yeah. The angle or lack of zoom makes it really difficult to be confident that they are 100% right there

There we have it. Iheanacho showing his failings and why he’ll never be world class. He can’t consistently hold the ball up and link the play. Soumare loping along without any urgency and standing and appealing for a throw in instead of getting on with the game. Faes diving in and absolving himself of any defensive reponsibilties by continually being out of position. Most worrying for me was was Maddison’s attitude and body language at times. As captain, we need him to lead by example and not acting like a petulant child. Vardy is shot. He offers nothing at the moment.

And in addition, they are measuring off Faes Fore arm

Seemed to be checked very quickly unlike last week.

Observations - can’t see when the ball was released - conveniently. Line doesn’t match the lines of the grass - not straight. Worst angle ever.

and that foul…how is that not a red?? That could have damaged his knee.

I'm inclined to stay positive given our recent results, the way we played first half, and the fact it was Old Trafford.

But a few things remain true.

1 - We have an awful goalkeeper.

2 - When an opposition manager changes something, Brendan is either too thick or too egotistical to counter the change in tactics. United went tight on Kelechi second half and we played right into their hands. Switch it up when it becomes apparent they've wised up to it. Have a plan B.

3 - When things go pear shaped, we are too mentally fragile to grab a game by the scruff of the neck and change it. We felt sorry for ourselves and threw in the towel.

4 - Faes, while largely tidy and a good defender, will tend to have one brain fart per game.

I think we'll stay up, but some common themes still to iron out.
