edit - but then I am of the mentality that winning breeds winning.

Ahhh, but we win the Blackburn game... which gives us the confidence to beat Southampton?

I know, the actual premise of the question is ridiculous.

Southampton,  because I think it will be pivotal for how we go on.

If we lose, I think confidence will be greatly affected.

Win, and we can take the confidence into Chelsea at home and then those that follow.

If we beat Blackburn,  it's only a matter of time until we draw a better team who will turn us over.

Focusing on the cup is like getting a luxury car when you can't afford your mortgage / rent. Need priorities and right now it's survival in the league.

If we lose to Blackburn, what will that do to our confidence? :dunno:

Wycombe Wanderers.

Need I say more?

Slow start to week and always wanted to try and create a poll, so here goes! Apologies in advance if nothing happens!

But if we could win only one of these two upcoming games, which one would you choose? No draws/replays/both type nonsense. Just which one would you prefer we won?

Difference in perspectives….I would never dream of thinking one or the other…

Its. Beat Blackburn…

Then whup Soton.

In my Dimension there is no alternatives, you fight to forge through every path..

Thats what all Sportsman do..

Fans only say League cup unimportant….

look again my friends , see how Manutd celebrated…:yahoo:

Blackburn.

I'm taking my 9 year old lad to his 2nd game at lcfc.

First one was Wolves when he was about 5 and we won.

He cried everytime we scored a goal because of the noise!!!

If we lose tomorrow  he will hate lcfc!!!

You better hope we lose, surely you don't want to inflict a lifetime of agony on your lad?

Early days but why would you pick Southampton? We have 13 other games to pick up points in the league. The Cup is a single shot.

Exactly.

I'd certainly take a win tomorrow and a draw at Southampton. A defeat at the weekend would be bad news, but far from terminal.

Beat Blackburn and we're in the quarters with an outside chance of FA Cup glory and European football next season.

A win at St. Mary's would be good, but if we can't get enough points from the remaining PL matches after Saturday, we'll be in the shite anyway.

Agreed. Hate getting knocked out of the FA Cup, especially at this stage where a semi final feels within reach.

Think the 'decline' of Vardy and Daka not making much impact, whilst leaving our - arguably - best striker in Iheanacho at the moment isolated with little service is affecting morale in the final third.
