I’ve got to run some errands in town Monday. I never bet. I’ll be hunting out a bookies. We are absolute bankers for the drop - look at the fight in the squad and compare it to others around us. Look at the ever growing injury list of players who don’t want to be associated with the relegation scrap. Look at the complete cockwand in the technical area.

Yes, yes we’re getting relegated.

I think we’ll just about be ok this season as there’s worse teams just about, but large parts of it aren’t a Premier League team and even if we do stay up, I’m dreading next year no matter who is in charge.

Worse teams than us?

We’ve just lost (again this season) to the team that were bottom for the majority of it.

We’re in free-fall.

The players and Rodgers seem to have had this mentality for weeks as well. ‘We’ll be ok, we’re good enough based on previous seasons, there’s a long way to go…etc’

We’ve not had a shot on target in 180 minutes of football.

We are down if BR remains at our club.

I'm sorry guys but we're staying up. Not only that but we'll finish around 13th or so, somehow.

First things first, we're an awful side. There's talent there but we're so unorganised and have a terrible way of playing. We couldn't argue against deserving a relegation.

However, it's getting so tight and there are about 8 teams who could be thinking similar this season. I think we might stay up, but mostly due to 3 teams somehow managing to be worse.

There are some really big games coming up, particularly at home.

It hinges entirely on persisting with this manager. Given the odds tell me they'll stick, I think we go down.

You're never too good to be relegated to be fair.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  And at the moment we're never good, let alone "Too Good"

The real question now is whether we will be able to avoid relegation to league 1 next season and who we will bring in when Rodgers inevitably resigns after taking us down.

Anonymous again... do you think we are getting relegated this season?

From the  "After 20 games" poll
As it stands after 20 games....
56% say we are going down
44% say we are staying up

500 votes placed

From the  "After 15 games" poll
As it stands after 15 games....
4% say we are going down
96% say we are staying up

434 votes placed

From the  "After 10 games" poll
As it stands after 10 games....
69% say we are going down
31% say we are staying up

360 votes placed

Polls are useless,we have 35k at least of fans,

only max of 450 ever vote….usually the miserable  ba#tards, bullies and know-alls

desperate to prove something or other….

The terraces will Brühl,bellow, & boo,but will generally keep the faith & believe until, the descision falls one way or tother…

Fans will grasp at the positives,no matter how bleak the period has panned out.

A new game,a new day, a fresh chance…even with Brendan,so long a small flame of hope, then the next period we can be a rejuvanted R.Madrid..That’s sport…..

Until it hurts, one stands up again, and hope that from 13 games,we can produce,

just 4,like the Spurs /Villa games,  no matter who the opposition is…

Some people seem to enjoy being miserable, & enjoy trying to persuade others to follow their  agendas…

Second most losses in the league and we hardly draw or win games, that’s the recipe of relegation, where are the next wins coming from:

Bournemouth?

Everton?

Wolves?

I don’t see many at all at most probably 3 from 13 with one or two draws along the way.

so 11 points at most 35 points, if we need a win against West Ham to stay up we are down.

I’m still believing we can avoid the drop only even if it’s on goal difference, the Board need to act now before it’s far too late to do anything about it Sack Brendan but knowing his luck he’ll still be here come Chelsea and we’ll beat them which will give him a bit more time !

....no manager in the world could help now. The squad is subterraneously bad. Apart from Maddison, Tielemans and a few more,

most of the players have no PL quality. We have benefited from Jamie's goals for years and if Vardy hadn't scored 15 goals last season

and Kasper had saved crucial points with great saves in many matches, we probably would have been relegated last year.

Furthermore, the purchasing policy has been criminal for years.

Now Vardy is no longer scoring goals and Kasper is unfortunately no longer here, the logical consequence is relegation....:(

We are one of the worst 3 teams in the league right now and given how close everything is down there, it looks likely at the moment. But this is football and I doubt it will go as I expect right now.

Our attack is good enough to keep us up, but our defence and coaching staff are bad enough to relegate us. Time will tell if Maddison and Nacho can save us or not…

I voted no. Because as soon as the managers replaced we will see improvements.

But the manager isn't get replaced.

So then what?

I just don't believe they will let us go down. Although they're playing an extremely risky game at the moment.

Yesterday was a shocker. Tete looked useless, Barnes the same, Mendy does his best but he isn't creative, Ricardo and castagne okay, but defensively sometimes found wanting, we have a poor keeper and our central defenders aren't the best, Nacho missing gift edged chances, vardy legs gone, daka no confidence and frozen out, we no longer have perez or Albrighton as backup, and our manager is tactically out of his depth.

Yes I think we're in big trouble, I don't think we'll get better, but it's about if the teams around us like west ham, Bournemouth, Southampton improve, if so we're gone.

My Villa-supporting mate couldn't believe we were 11/2 to go down last night. He thinks we'll be fine staying up.

It got me thinking, so many other fans of other PL clubs I've spoken to think we'll be fine. Do they see enough in our squad, or are we the realists? Do they see 3+ other sides as totally shitter than we are, and we just can't see it because of the misery we see week in, week out (mostly)?

Of course I hope there'll be celebrations at the end of the season. But not even in a good sense, more of a relief and a big sigh of a relief at that. It's not even a celebration so perhaps that's the wrong word. I just can't see how we recover straight away if we go down. We'll no doubt be financially screwed, and it's just not as easy as it used to be to come straight back up (I think).

Rodgers going will just immediately lift a massive whopping grey cloud hanging over the club right now. It doesn't resolve everything, but you can almost sense how better the atmosphere will be when a) he goes and b) we're hopefully not resigned to the negative mindset on the pitch.

Spurs supporting mate was astonished when i said i thought we were going down last week. No lie - word for word he said 'But you've got Brendan Rodgers - no change you can go down'.

The Brendan roadshow is in everyone's heads.
