Let's be honest, he has very small shoes to fill. He's in the fortune position that he can't physically do a worse job than Rodgers and anything is an improvement. Unfortunately he's got the monumental task of keeping a squad playing Sunday league football in the top flight.

Usually a good sign - Leeds fans were absolutely pissing themselves at the thought of us appointing Marsch. Villa fans seem to hold him in the same sort of regard we do Pearson.

 

Shakespeare back is lovely, and Terry - bloke is a proven winner and will install some standards at this club, something long missing.

Part of me thinks the Bournemouth game had to happen. It was their rude awakening that they were in the sh1t and they had been lied to all season. Madders looked like he’d found out his Mum had been cheating on his dad for 10 years. I think he’s worked out the hard way the guy was a fraud. 
 

These 3 have a massive job on their hands, but it’s an achievable goal. And if they do it, it will be an almighty end to a turgid season.

Like I said on the rumour - as good as can be expected in the state we have gotten ourselves into.

 

Glad to see Shakey back. Get Walsh back in around Seagrave as well. These guys at least understand the assignment.

 

Fair play on agreeing to a short term S.O.S. too as that way it won't burden us any more to let them all go, along with the board, should they not succeed.
