Was always going to be a free hit. Otherwise I saw enough to be a bit more optimistic.

Two things - the corner for Stones goal wasn't a corner, and we should have had a penalty in the last few minutes.

Much better second half, Maddison, Iheanacho and Preat all had chances they really should have scored.
They didn’t really threat after half time.

Nothing will be decided today, but there are positives.

Bring on the Wolves

The one thing that bothers me, is that when they made the changes and took away all of their threat… we still didn’t press them on the ball.

You can’t be 2 down and just happy to let them have the ball. We improved but the urgency and the belief that we could… still wasn’t there imo

alot better second half, think at this point Kel has to start, even daka and Kel for the Wolves game for me

certainly a few positives from that compared to the shower of shit we've had for most the season

Second half exactly what I was hoping for. Sure we got outclasses first half, but 90% of team do at the etihad.

Smith will have learned a valuable lesson today: start Kelechi every remaining game. Maybe he'll finally become the main man his performances have consistently deserved. COYF

Phew!! Not a bad result given they're probably going to win the treble. Very lucky that they've got so many games to play and decided to stop trying. Hopefully this will be the last time we start Vardy, as soon as we brought him off we looked better going forward than we have in many games.

Quite simply the fight to avoid the drop starts now. Today was a practice match.

Now it really starts.

Well, I felt like a victim after having watched the first half hour so it ended as well as it possibly could have.

Preps to Pep and Dean for making the changes required to restore a bit of hope and pride for us and keeping our goal difference in tact.

Onwards and upwards to batter Wolves next week. :scarf:

Yes Man City eased off and made changes but it was more positive towards the end. Maddison should have scored, great ball to Nacho and unlucky with hitting the post. Couple of penalty shouts of our own, Man City probably get the Maddison one at the other end if it’s Grealish.

Probably got enough to get results in the upcoming games!

Promising 2nd half even if they put the foot off the gas.

Wasnt a disaster for our GD.

Good for Soy and Youri to get some minutes.

Relieved we didn't get smashed as GD could be crucial and it wasn't looking too great first half.

Great to see Youri back even if he was clearly not up to speed. Also nice to see some real desire from Kel, has to start over Vardy but won't unfortunately.

Main negative was Wilf. He just needs removing. More of a hindrance than as asset on the pitch. Mendy needs to play his role for the rest of the season.

Still got some hope for survival...

Happy with that, despite losing 3-1.

GD hasn't been battered and some hope.

Soyuncu played well and I thought Thomas did well when he came albeit I'd stick with VK.

Big telling will be next week against Wolves.

Best we have played for a while

Created chances, positive, grit and played to the whistle. Cags great! Has to start Nacho and Mendy. Praet for KDH too. Nice to see a manager make changes when needed and positive changes!
