Need to drop a midfielder for a striker and just go for it. That central midfield would get overran. You have to fit Tielemans in somehow. 1
Mark_w Posted 25 April 2023 Posted 25 April 2023 Just Vardy in for Tete with Kelechi dropping back and Maddison floating around on the right. How far away is Ricardo from coming back? Could really do with getting him back so we can move Castagne over to the left.
moore_94 Posted 25 April 2023 Posted 25 April 2023 With Nacho: Maddison, Nacho, Barnes Vardy Without Nacho: Praet, Maddison, Barnes Vardy 3
Devonfox1884 Posted 25 April 2023 Posted 25 April 2023 (edited) I just don’t like Youri and Bouba as a 2, it’s not mobile. Kelechi potentially being out could allow for something like this: Iversen Castagne Faes Soyuncu Kristiansen Mendy Tielemans Soumare Madders Vardy Barnes The worry being an isolated Vardy. If Kel is available then him in for Mendy and we’ll just have to roll with Youri and Bouba and pray. Edited 25 April 2023 by Devonfox1884 1

Against most teams I'd agree with you, but will that be the case with Everton? They are playing 4231 under Dyche these days and not his 442, but their midfield is not the greatest. Will Everton come out to attack? I expect them to play a deep block and counter even though they themselves need the win. Playing at home and in a must win game... perhaps starting with two up top is the way to go?

Heskey2011 Posted 25 April 2023 Posted 25 April 2023 All Monday night games now til last game of the season. The last Monday night game we had (excluding boxing day) we actually won, remember back when we were younger and we thumped forest 4-0, 3rd of October last year. Perhaps we're good on Mondays? So that's something.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 25 April 2023 Posted 25 April 2023 I feel anxious not knowing how Kel is… honestly think he’s vital for the run in, Especially next two games. 2
An Away Move Posted 25 April 2023 Posted 25 April 2023 Vardy is only effective with a strike partner. Daka has to play alongside him as frustrating as that might be. He offers more than Barnes based on current form.

Sunbury Fox Posted 25 April 2023 Posted 25 April 2023 No clean sheet in 18 games and conceding first in 16 of them is a huge problem. We have to break this cycle as winning from behind under the pressure of a relegation battle is so hard. 1 1

Hammo Posted 25 April 2023 Posted 25 April 2023 Does Bamford’s shocking late miss mean that our luck is finally going to turn? Two disallowed goals and Kel’s injury before it meant another night of ill fortune… until that moment. We only seem to score great goals - could do with a lucky deflection or og against Everton. It’s about time… 1
Aus Fox Posted 25 April 2023 Posted 25 April 2023 Vardy so much better coming off the bench against tired defenders. Iversen Castagne Faes Soyuncu Thomas Soumare Tielemans Maddison Praet Daka Barnes *I'm guessing Nacho isn’t going to be fit for this one.
South Shire Fox Posted 25 April 2023 Posted 25 April 2023 Iversen Castagne Faes Soyuncu VK Tielemans Soumare Maddison Kelechi Barnes Vardy
