Not getting rid of Rodgers sooner and Top being under his thumb.

It’s as simple as that.

Cracks were present way before our FA cup win, but in my opinion it truly went wrong when Rodger’s branded the squad over achievers. We should have got rid of him then, but at the very latest before the World Cup. We didn’t and if we held on to him for financial reasons, then that backfired too. A colossal cock up top to bottom - the board are not fit to steer our club.

The warning signs were there with bottling the top 4 in good positions.

But letting Kasper go with no replacement was fatal.

Not sacking Rodgers when we had so much time to do so, selling Kasper, continually playing Danny Ward and Daniel Amartey, not signing players last summer, messing up the January recruitment (lets be honest it was pretty ineffective) and waiting too long to appoint Smith when we sacked Rodgers.

Basically we've been a cluster**** all season.

this Also freezing out Nacho and Soy

As I’m sure everyone has said the not sacking Rodgers soon enough is to blame. Top Susan and little Jon have lead with absolute ineptness. Almost unprofessional from them and of course Rodgers.

The thing that really riles me is the fact that those responsible will carry on regardless and will a leave with top compo and walk in to another job or come out blameless. Football is the only job I know that rewards failure, well that and government.

I wanted rodgers gone once he started passing the blame.... I wanted him gone irrespective of results.

But we had many polls and half the fans wanted him to stay.

Foxes trust described a fan as an idiot for waving a rodgers out banner at brentford....  so many fans ....and the board  procrastinated.

Going into last summer and the season with Rodgers.

Should have parted company somewhat on good terms at the end of last season.

They (the club/the board) had a choice, get rid of Rodgers or back Rodgers. They did neither. They wrote the season off before it even began. Negligence and belief we were 'too good to go down'.

Half the fans in the stadium just want to see Leicester play a game and cheer them on and aren't that bothered about the result, they'll just move on to the next game.

On reflection it probably all went wrong  ironically at the home match with West Ham .  A helicopter crashed and we lost a leader, Vichai, who had the team and fans at heart and was not shy at making tough decisions rathe rather then relying on bollocks from Rudkin and Whelan.

Continuing with OHL after Vichais passing. Having Top and Rudders running both, especially at a time everyone could see a big rebuild was coming.

Three letters. FFP. Without that being imposed by the big six we had plenty of funds to buy. Just couldnt pay them anything.

Winning the FA cup granted a stay of execution for Rodgers to a point that we were buried by the time he was gone. If you’d have offered me an FA cup and in exchange get relegated two seasons later…. I probably would have taken it.

It has been downhill for almost 2 years now and it was clear where we were going. Any statistical analyst could have shown the trend us fans could see with our eyes.

This was the moment for me too. When it became blatantly obvious it was all about brand Brendan and proving to everyone he was the cleverest person in the room rather than finding the most effective way to win football matches for his employer.

Allardyce was practically drooling over our first half performance, calling us the best team in the league alongside Man City. If I remember right it could have been 7 rather than 3 on chances created. Cue Brendan coming out with all that rubbish about too many risky passes in the first half and being delighted with the Brendanball in the second half.

This is when the mask slipped for me and I suspected he was the snake oil salesman we'd seen at Liverpool.

If you're a professional footballer and you've just destroyed a team and then you hear your gaffer come out with all that I think the doubt starts to creep in

100%. The unveiling of a huge ego.

True but it allowed Rudkin, Rodgers and Whelan to rest on their laurels. The idea that relegation could happen if they did not keep moving forward (unlike the teams regular method of play) was just inconceivable to them until too late.
