Guest ChrisWalken456 Posted 4 May 2024 Posted 4 May 2024 That took a ridiculous amount of time. Clear pen.
coolhandfox Posted 4 May 2024 Posted 4 May 2024 How does he need to look at that for that long. Standard of refs is gash. 1
foxfanazer Posted 4 May 2024 Posted 4 May 2024 This could get really embarrassing for Wolves. It's just attack against defence
surrifox Posted 4 May 2024 Posted 4 May 2024 I’m sure we’ve got a plan to deal with this f***** replicant next season 🤣 1

Plus we had three points off these at Molineux, we can't be expected to beat them twice.

CrazyKopCorner Posted 5 May 2024 Posted 5 May 2024 Really poor yesterday bordering unprofessional for me. 11 defeats - a number against really poor sides is a cause for concern - an average championship side would look to lose no more than 15. Their 2 goals have to be a wake up call Major work required and a major cull of the some the dead wood that's been allowed to linger for far too long. What is clear is that we MUST keep KDH 1
StanSP Posted 5 May 2024 Posted 5 May 2024 (edited) Seems to happen two seasons in a row at a time. One of Portsmouth, Derby or presumably Bolton to get promoted again next season..? Edited 5 May 2024 by StanSP
Popular Post LCFCJohn Posted 5 May 2024 Popular Post Posted 5 May 2024 Personally I am just going into next season with zero expectations of survival and nobody’s job should be judged on that. We are probably looking at being about the level of Luton/Burnley. If we exceed that a bit, any points deduction brings us back down to that level. If we perform as they have and have a points deduction, we may even see ourselves in Sheffield United’s position. It should be about getting the finances back in order, going back to the recruitment methods that treated us well in the past and making sure we are in a good position to go again if we go down. If we stay up it’d be a bonus. 11

We'll see what state we're in at the start of next season before making any real predictions, though!

If we get the business right then we could be absolutely fine. There’s a lot of shit in the premier league…. I’d say we’re better now than the bottom 4 teams, so that’s a starter for ten. We just need to get the summer right, plus Forest staying up could help us the talk is they’re getting points back, which would aid both us and Everton V the Pl.
Matt Posted 5 May 2024 Posted 5 May 2024 Siege mentality. History shows us that's when we're at our best on and off the field. I apologise for saying this but i'm not sure the style we've adopted in recent years is conducive to a siege mentality however, you feel there will have to be a shift, we've seen glimpses but I don't believe this is wanted or preferred.

The siege mentality went out the window under Rodgers though - even before the FA Cup high-water mark we were bottling things from seemingly unassailable positions. It seems hard-coded into our DNA at this point to crumble under pressure. To be fair, I'm impressed that the players managed to arrest the decline this season when it all started going wrong in February - a lot of us saw parallels between that bad run and everything we've endured in the past few years. The games at Millwall, Plymouth and Bristol City were as bad a performance as anything we stunk up the prem with last year. So credit is due to Vardy and co. for banging some heads together and getting us to refocus and get over the line. I suppose it helps that nobody in this squad is really that much of a big-time Charlie. Getting the same response once they're in the 'big time' may be a tougher ask - I think we'll need to keep a few heads screwed on. Whatever recruitment we do, I hope they're the right fit for the wider team, because we absolutely cannot afford any 'individuals' who think they're too good to go down next season. 2

ARM1968 Posted 5 May 2024 Posted 5 May 2024 It’s going to be tough. I feel we will be a weaker side in the Prem than we are right now. There just aren’t the finances there to bring in the strength we need. We have to get ourselves back on track financially and likely prepare for 25/26 back in the Championship. That would be the sensible course. However there is some dross in the Prem, we will be amongst that dross, and it is possible with some astute business to build a side capable of surviving. Either way it will be tough for fans and players alike. It’s going to be a bumpy ride I think with probably a few unforeseen twists and turns.
