That’s just one of those bullshit cliches people trot out when trying to be optimistic following catastrophic failure. 
 

Good opportunity to “reset”, but a fair certainty of losing millions and also risking years of sporting oblivion. Far better to reset and rebuild, whilst maintaining PL status

Everton are struggling to stay out of administration in the Premier League- relegation would be disastrous.

Loads of Evertonians gave up their tickets so more of us could go to the match to see a bit of opera and a trophy lift. 
 

There’s dicks at every club - hell, just look at my expansive block list here - but I reckon they need to be cut a little slack.

Yeah, one of them was going to give me his ticket for £250 until he got a better offer.

Did Newcastle or Villa circle the drain this badly before going down? I can't help but feel there's a will from the league for them not to go. They seem to get so much slack.

I’ve already put him on block. 
 

My children are crying because I can’t pay off their overdrafts like I promised. What on earth possessed him to make such a rash prediction? Does he have any idea of the lives he has ruined?
 

I hate him more than Jon Rudkin.
