We really have to recruit better, simple as. Too many players see us as a soft touch.

We need a complete overhaul in the summer. Clear out all of these leeches. I don't care if it means we don't get promoted

As no one knows what’s gone on what if I say Winks is being frozen out because he has called out the club internally saying it’s a shambles, will people like him now?

Let him go keep Skipp see what happens with Soumare and Ndidi and sign another couple of cms/cdms. No real place in the modern prem for 5’10 slow weak players who ‘dictate play’. Too easily bullied, same as Cullen at Burnley under Kompany

Puel was outed as the squad back then didn't like discipline or hard work, been a problem for a while.

Mourinho

Nuno

Conte

Maresca

Cooper

Van Nistelrooy

6 managers. Only 1 he's gotten on with.

He's a fanny. He's the common denominator.

While I can see why people think this is out of order,  he is stuck between his family not wanting to move, his wife no doubt wanting his support with the baby, and his employer moving the goalposts to make a point.  Not a great position to be in.

That said, I do find that I am a lot more flexible with people in my team at work (40+ people) who are flexible themselves, who work hard and perform.  You earn the flexibility by being flexible yourself and delivering. If you are strict 9-5 even when urgent things come up, off sick a lot and unhelpful to your manager & colleagues don't expect them to put themselves out for you.

This is poor from Winks. My gripe and the lack of professionalism is the fact he posted these pictures in the first place. It's childish and pathetic. Players are like big babies that haven't experienced real life and live in the their self centred bubble.

Just don't post pictures to prove a.point or score points. It's unprofessional, pathetic and just down right thick. It makes you look like a moronic Teletubbie

Childlike behaviour from Winks.

Unless the baby is ill, there’s absolutely no reason why he couldn’t comply with the request. One night is not unreasonable at all.

Another example of a pampered player, along with the Enzo thing, he sounds like the sort of asshole that someone like Pearson would have frozen out long before.

Its a none issue whatsoever being made an issue by a shite manager to deflect from himself

Not sure how you can blame Ruud. Did he post the picture? Did he go to Copenhagen with a sign saying :"We miss you Enzo..: "

And you're delusional if you think it's a harmless picture. Like the Enzo message it's designed to say - what's happening at the club is sh!t but I don't actually give a sh!t...I've still got my big watch, my fancy clothes, my new born baby, my Aperol Spritz, my access to beautiful bar and no doubt my footballers' girlfriend and it really doesn't matter that the club which pays for all this, is getting relegated today..

He's solid back up, but that's about it. I'm just thinking with the mess we're in and the pennies we will need to pinch.. a small offer for Hamza may be accepted as its pure profit, plus it's 50k a week off the wage bill.

I wouldn't mind seeing him stay for next season only if we can afford him.. always committed when he plays

This is where I am at with Hamza. A good attitude on the pitch and works hard. Good at the level we will be at. Hopefully wages aren’t too bad once reductions take place. But if a decent offer comes, most of them are available.

I also agree with your post just above this one other than Soumare who should also be able to move permanently given he will be in his last year as well.

I am not sure when she has the baby but it is not unreasonable to want to be close by is it? These are the sorts of things that have to be managed. Perhaps there have been complications. We do not know. What I will say is Winks has not been great this season when he has played. If he does not want to be here he can go. Buying two players who were not good enough for Spurs should have been warning enough!

I think he’s just got enough stock to sell on to someone like Sheff United, or Leeds. I reckon Leeds would go for someone like Winks, pretentious bellend is a good look for them.

That's going to be an even longer commute for the poor chap.
