If we can't get rid then leave him to rot and NOT play him. Braybrooke is the obvious replacement even though I earlier said he would never be good  enough. To his credit he did well at Newport and chesterfield.

If I had actually renewed my ST and this toxic little **** was still playing come 1st game I'd be throwing it in Rudkins face to try and get the longest ban possible.

This is pure speculation isn't it?

I know Martin might want to keep him style wise. But his wages(might make it it impossible for him to leave too) and whats gone before almost makes it impossible.

He'd have to do a grovelling and buy the whole stadium aperol spritz to apologise at the very least.

We need to at least try an offload him due to his ridiculous wages. I do wonder who and what amount is the highest wage taker in history of league 1? Even if we can send him on loan somewhere and only pay a percentage of his wage, as its better than him sitting in the reserves taking that money.

Think Braybrooke should at least deserve a chance to impress in pre-season as by what i've heard, he had a decent season out on loan last season. He was starting in front of John Fleck for Chesterfield.

Callum Chambers at Cardiff - 32k after a quick Google.

If we  cant find buyers, he is a top player for league one so hard not to play him.

Not a likeable character right now is he?

obviously, sell if we can.

but it benefits no one for him to rot in the reserves all season if we can’t. Need to have prem tv money coming in to be able to afford to do things like that.

I just want him gone. It's best for all parties. However good technically he is, and he'll be by far the best player in the league, his attitude is not one that this team and fans needs. We need determination, desire for this club to be successful. All he cares about is himself. Id be open to cancelling his contract to start to get rid of the toxic attitude.

We need a fresh start as much as we can and that starts by Winks going. It'll also be better for him as well, he gets a fresh start at another club and cut ties with somewhere where he's clearly not happy to be.

If the likes of Winks, Faes and VK are still here and in and around the 1st team then any chance of the much needed refresh, rebuild and new start will have been lost. Too much water has gone under the bridge with these players, one mistake or half arsed performance and the whole place will just go toxic. For the sake of everyone this summer we have to move heaven and earth to shift these players on.

He’ll stay, we’ll have to pay too much to get rid of him to make it worthwhile.

Best chance we’ve got is benching him for the first few games and giving him no minutes, he might worry that he won’t get an England recall and take any move he can get.

On the off chance he is still here, I fully intend to boo him at every chance, just in case he thinks that there is 1 person in Leicester that still likes him.

He might have ability, but his attitude makes all the other players in the side considerably worse.

It must be awful having someone like this at the training ground. A proper proper bellend.

He'll be one of the better players in League 1 but not to the level that would cover for his obvious lack of effort.

We can't afford to carry his attitude anymore, get him the fvck out of here and he can sip Apparol on someone else's paycheck.

Just don’t think there are many teams Winks would make a positive difference to. People know he’s been a knob as well. Hardly covered himself in glory and not good enough for that not to matter.

If he's in a functional team that's on top of possession more often than not and without needing to tackle or track runs, he's completely fine at Championship level. Maybe even lower PL, even if as a squad player.

He doesn't have the attributes to stand out at a club with a toxic culture either. He was great in the Championship in his first season.

Everyone said this about our players when we were relegated to the Championship.

This is certainly a benefit of going digital and using phones.

He must go. It is his attitude, along with players like Faes, Kristiansen, Ayew and Vestergard that destroyed the morale last season and contributed to the relegation. He must not be allowed to poison the young players and new players we bring in.

If he's any sense, he should realise he needs a redemption arc, so he either needs to move on or pull his finger out, play up to his ability and stop being a knob.

This. No doubt a technically gifted player but how many times did he apply these skills last season?

He is a malign, disrespectful and disruptive influence. The club should do everything to move him and all the players that have destroyed the dressing room. Numerous managers since Maresca have tried and failed to get a tune out of him and them.

Loan him to QPR or Watford with some percentage of wages covered.

Get him out.

If it didn’t cover the outgoing salary what would be the point?

With a new manager that likes knocking one out over passing stats, he could easily replicate what he did under Enzo.

I guess it all depends on if we have money to spend and how much decent strikers cost or how well we utilise the loan market.

Fair comment but I think its true in his case once you take the emotional aspect away. Maybe some of the others will have earned their level this season!

Best scenario is getting rid of him though.

Surely even Harry Winks isn’t thinking that an England recall is possible!

You could actually argue if we can't shift him, playing him could actually cost us more as no doubt he's got bonuses in his deal
