Well did what he needed to do today, defend.

Can ask alot from defenders nowdays, but if they stop the goals going in they doing a good job.

Today for the 2nd out of 4 games? we have kept a clean sheet

It’s funny with Vesty. One game he can look so statuesque and lost, but another game he can look cultured and sublime.

He was my MoTM tonight. I thought he was defensively sound and sometimes our most creative player. I won’t get too excited though as we all know his limitations. They’re just less likely to be exposed at this level

This 100%

I was surprised how Kyogo made so few attempts to run in behind him.

When the game is played in front of Jannik, he is a very good CB as witnessed last night.

If you have a mobile striker (or even slightly one) wanting to run behind, we see the big flaw in Jannik’s game.

He's ridiculous at this level isn't he, he also seems to be one player that gives instructions out

Ridiculously bad yes. He can pass a ball under no pressure but back to back games where he's been massively at fault for the goals conceded. That defending was embarrassing for any centre back.

Almost another one at his door!

At fault for the goal and the heads straight down the tunnel at full time despite Marti telling him to clap the fans.

Sling him and his dog back to the U23’s.

Second week running his mistake has cost us. Pathetically weak and immobile. Despise him and everything he stands for in terms of overpaid players at this club

He’s shit. Always has been, always will be. Has one or two decent games at this level and people talk him up but in reality he is awful. Can’t head the ball, not strong enough and can’t run. Never seen a bloke so big lose so many battles. Can’t wait until the day he is not at this club.

And to think of some clever soul in the club didn’t offer him a new 3 year contract when he performed well at a lower level, he wouldn’t be here now???

Absolutely no doubt that he was at fault for their goal tonight. Other than that mistake he actually defended quite well tonight

He was up against the attacking equivalent of himself tbf

Jannik doing Jannik things yet those not wanting Nelson reference one first half against Huddersfield.

We know Jannik’s ceiling and frankly it’s not very good.

Nelson could be another £30m asset but we refuse to consider him after he had a great loan at this level.

We deserve everything that we get with this leadership in situ.
