I still don’t think the fans are right to dismiss him like this. Foxes fans.

Good enough for a Champions League side, not good enough for you Foxes fans.

Remember the runs he did, that magical pass he made under Smith. He was another player not used right by Rodgers and then got the stick by the fans who don’t know what they don’t know.

I’m sorry but I don’t care what league you came from, what style you are used to, what your favoured position is, when an opponent is running freely into a dangerous position very close to you break a sweat, make an effort, go with him, make it difficult for him, bust a gut for the badge, don’t do an impression of a stalk warming up for a light jog.

I am not sure if you are winding us up or not.

Soumare was lazy, ineffectual and was tactically clueless. He may have worked at other clubs and leagues, but he was out of his depth in the Prem. He absolutely was not good enough for us based off his time here. I dont care about his time in the French league

I can count on one hand the good games he has had for this club. He was a liability who cost us goals. He rarely tracked back.

He is an example of poor recruitment.

Amen.

One of the most pointless, ill-judged signings of recent years. Never looked like he wanted to be here and very rarely demonstrated any effort, let alone enthusiasm, for the club. A total misfit. Delighted to see the back of him.

Judging by that pic doesn't look like he wants to be at Sevilla either...

Feel sorry for the Sevilla fan thats sat up all night watching that run against Spurs on repeat and has convinced himself ‘theres a player there’.

Its going to be a long hard road back for the poor fella as some on here are finding out.

Good enough for Sevilla and the Champions League, but not good enough for many fans of Championship Leicester City 😂

He was Rodgered. Fans slammed him just after a few matches here and there while he never got a consistent run. Never understood that.

I thought he had a few excellent displays nonetheless including when Dean first came in.

He is probably not the Enzo type of player but a very decent player nonetheless. If Enzo can turn Ndidi into an attacking midfielder, imagine what Enzo could do with Soumare who has much better ball control and good passing ability in him.

There’ll still be some clueless binbags on here insisting he’ll come good.

...that makes you wonder what exactly is Sevilla saying in that article!!!

You are not going to activate an option unless the player proves to have met a certain standard. My interpretation therefore is that he has come good, I am not sure how else to interpret that article, if true.

If Sevilla buy him then everyone's a winner. I wish him well if he goes.

Sometimes transfers just don't work out and it's not because the player is dogshit, it just isn't the right fit.

Equally it proved my point:

You would think a professional team playing in the Champions League paying real money would know more than what a poster on FT thinks in his armchair and who has not put any money on this …

Having said that, I am lying on my bed at the moment … and we do have managers and owners who don’t know what they are doing
