For all the domination we didn’t really create genuine chances, Mavididi really lets us down over complicating simple passes/opportunities or just being so loose with everything. KDH won’t use his right foot and stops the momentum at times. Loved Fatawu today though and looked really strong at the back.

The openings were there for big chances but the final ball was poor each time.

I think we need more from whoever our striker is. Mavididi and co can do whatever they like but if they have 3 people marking them because the striker is not a threat, then it’s a problem. Maybe that’ll come with Cannon?

There will be lots of times this season where we just say job done. Today probably falls into that category. 

 

Just keep winning, sometimes it will be comprehensive and sometimes it will be just enough. Good to see we can win both ways.

Total domination. First half we didn't get out of first gear, went up a notch second half until the penalty. Would have liked to have seen us maintain it after the goal but I get it. 

 

Wilf was awesome. Great to see what coaching a player can do. 

 

Kdh was poor. I think he just wants to be the star man so badly he messes up the good stuff he does. If he just settles down and plays his game he might reach Wilf status.

Love that someone replaced Wilf today with Prime Ronaldinho. 

 

Disappointed with our left, thought KDH and Stephy were underwhelming. Mavididi looked a bit like when you make a mistake or two and you let it get to you. His confidence seemed to drop a bit, his passing and shooting started to look hesitant. 

 

AFI was class though. Be hard to leave him out the team I think. Think we still need Mavididi’s pace and dribbling on the counter but otherwise I'd be having  AFI right and McAteer left after today, give stephy a rest.
