Well done Liverpool for narrowly beating our second string team…..

Couldn’t give less of a **** in all honesty…. We did okay with a vastly different team, players who won’t play for us ordinarily got a run out so it wasn’t a surprise we looked a bit disjointed at times.

Not going to kick the cat, and the lads can generally feel fairly cheery with that. It’s a distraction we don’t need so **** it off and move on to the next game.

Ref poor but not the deciding factor although we should have had a pen. Biggest difference from prem to championship is the pressing from the opposition. In the championship we can play our game all day with no worries but prem teams, especially ones with the quality of Liverpool, can press so well for 90 minutes. This stopped us from getting forward too often and also lead to chances being created by them when they forced our mistakes. Was always going to be tough to play our game without Winks

Despite the crap refereeing the truth is we were outclassed and could easily have been hammered there, so I’m happy that we’ve escaped with a relatively respectable scoreline. Fortunately our immediate prospects won’t be decided by the likes of Liverpool, so it’s back to the real business at the weekend.

Would always take something incredible for us to win there, let alone making 10 changes.

We made a pigs ear if it at times but im glad we shown the confidence to continue to play out from the back. Will stand us in good stead when we play against championship sides.

What you rather us do? Just hoof it up to worst hold up strikers I've seen.

No injuries, didn't get smashed. I'll take it.

My thoughts exactly.  Scored the first goal, didn’t get destroyed, and Ricardo isn’t going home on crutches.  That’s a result!!

Considering we only have one or two decent chances against us every game in the EFL and Coady is some sort of genius goal line saving machine... we should boss it!

Could have been 6-1 on another night, but treated as a training exercise (an Enzo probably did) it was a good one. We stuck to our game and had periods of looking very accomplished.

I feel pretty encouraged, actually. Had more about us than last season, that’s for sure.

It wasn’t the refs fault we lost. We are just miles behind these teams now. But never mind, league is what matters.

We have been miles behind Liverpool for a long time to be fair

To make 10 changes with two CBs who hadn't played all season we put on a decent show.

Best team won, simple as.

We didn’t disgrace ourselves though by any means.

Game over, we move on

The fact Liverpool fans are back singing tory chants is quite simply hilarious that we are still in their heads. That Christmas loss really hurt bless them

Genuinely the most tedious aspect of the last three/ four years. Was really hoping we'd have a year off from it.

Night game at Anfield. First five minutes goal. Eventual defeat via a Jota goal. Abysmal, borderline corrupt officiating. I've definitely seen that game at least 5 times already.

Shame but just a shit draw in a season it was never going to be that important for us.
