The gym has a cafe, would you trust Luke Thomas with a gas canister?

The bacon and sausages are grilled with poached egg it’s not like he was doing a belly buster challenge at Ron’s greasy spoon

Such a weak argument. Hamza wasn’t high on heroin when he was DUI’d, it is still an extremely negative thing to have happened

This escalated quickly. I’m obviously not comparing Hamza drink driving to Luke Thomas eating a fry up, but it’s just another example of how unprofessional he is.

Not saying it’s comparable, saying that using an extreme to soften something negative doesn’t stop the negative action being negative

Makes a lot of sense for him in terms of easily getting away for intl. duty - I personally doubt a club like that would (not could) pay for that to be the case though.

As in most disagreements the truth nestles between these two extremes.

His passing and forward movement isn’t exemplary, they’re just his strengths and are mid Championship kinda level. He should look good in lg1, but he’ll look mediocre again in the Prem.

As OwnGoal originally stated he looked ok with great players around him, as per HC, but hasn’t looked standout in the league below with comparable ability players surrounding him.

The frustration, rather than “hate”, directed at both is possibly there lack of progress since breaking into the side 6+ years ago.

I feel like that Forest cup game that I don't like to talk about was the start of teams really exposing him as the weakness. Especially when he had someone likes Barnes not helping him. Having said that he was incredible for us in the 2-2 at their place. He's had some performances that make you question if he's the same person. Derby away he was unreal too.

He's one of the strangest footballers I've seen. He didn't look out of place in the FA Cup winning team yet you'd genuinely question if he was even good enough for the Championship now.

Ohhh don't pick on the poor drink driver that's mean :(

These players have for the majority of their time with us been overpaid (and played) garbage yet people are being mean to them and that is the problem in all this?

This club is ridiculous.

Like others have said, I think that Thomas and Choudhury will be fine at this level. But I do question whether the wages they are on are appropriate to their actual worth to this squad. I have no factual knowledge of the figures involved, but both having been in the Premiership squads will still very likely be extremely well paid. And that's okay if they are the best players in the team/league. But I would bet my house that neither will prove to be that in this season. Certainly there's been no evidence of that in pre-season.

If there's opportunity to move them out (along with Skipp and BDCR) I would hope that we do so.

Can't really argue with any of what you've said.

The only thing you have left out is Attitude.

Everything else can be worked on but Attitude is from birth.

There were some noises around him, Maddison and KDH kicking off when we signed Kristansen. Alongside the three of them going on the piss a lot.

The culture at the club has sounded horrific for so long.

It seriously angers me that he’s still here. His contract needed terminating the second he was charged with drink driving. What kind of zero morals shit show are we running here?

I'm pretty sure we couldn't do that without paying his whole contract up.

In any other world of work he’d be in breach of contract. He broke the law so that was him terminating his own contract - or should’ve been!

There’s an advert that’s on at Christmas that mentions losing your job if you get caught driving under the influence, doesn’t mention the profession. Anyway, let’s not go round in circles with it.
