I'd say strongest team to start, make sure we get 3pts in this. For once start quick and hard and try and get a decent lead before half time, then sub a few and see it through in the second with only the required level of effort. If only it were that easy eh?

But jokes aside, let's not leave it an hour before going up the gears, do it from the off and don't give them any impetus!

Id do

Hermansen

Souttar Coady Justin

Ricardo Winks

Kasey Cassadei KDH Mavididi

Nacho

These are the games Cassadei should be starting (and excelling in). Nacho has annoyed the hell out of me but think give him 55 mins to get his confidence against the worst team in the league. Then unleash the cannon when hopefully we are 2-0 up.

I'd start Kasey and bring on Fatawu as an impact just for the sheer fun of it.

I echo these sentiments. Because of the nature of how we play, it’s probably better to bench some of our “starting XI worthy” players, as we have a stronger intent to attack when we tire teams down after the hour mark.

Agreed, he’s miles off it. Young lad so maybe to be expected and clearly is talented but aside from winning headers he just looks out of his depth

Created the penalty with the header to Vardy.

Probably wishful thinking here, a quick 2-0 up in HT and maybe try some different tactics like Kasey or Yunus as a 10? Or Kasey as a striker and Yunus as a 10?

Mavadidi can play down the middle as a makeshift striker would like to see him in the number 10 role rather down the middle (his pace could destroy defenders with him going down the centre a bit Vardy esque )than wing just behind Vards or Cannon bring Yunus in his place down the wing ?

Cannon need to get some minutes, if Daka and Iheanacho, are playing in the African Cup, in January.

Agree, but starting him would be a mistake I think. Too soon. Is start Vards and if we're winning, then bring him on as there's no pressure on him and he can relax. He needs to come in gradually.

I'd like to see Praet given some game time. I think he'll thrive in this formation. I'd like to see Winks, KDH and Praet work together. I think that is a good blend. But again Praet needs time, less then cannon but probably not ready to start yet.

We need to put pressure on Sheffield early and get an early goal, if we do then it could be quite a few. The longer it's 0-0 the more confident they'll be.

don’t see this at all.  Yunus is by far the best suited to play #10 in this whole squad

Reckon they'll come at us in the first 10/15 minutes but if they don't score then we'll beat them fairly comfortably. We grow into games.

Wednesday have only got 1 point against non-Yorkshire teams all season.

All of our dropped points came against Yorkshire sides!

First away game of the season for me so we are bound to have 90% of the possession  and lose 1-0🙄

And aside from Rotherham we have lost to the other Yorkshire sides.

Vardy should start - always got something to prove against his home team who let him go as an apprentice.

I don't think Premier League winner, FA Cup winner and PL Golden Boot winner Jamie Vardy has anything to prove to anyone.

We need to adopt this as the mantra for the rest of the season.
