We can all dream but Maresca says we have no money to buy until we sell.

He's likely correct in a general sense, but Sensi would be £1m a season in the accounts over 2 years or £650k over 3 years. I'd be astonished if we're that close to the bread line.

Hope not. Him and another attacking midfielder would almost secure promotion.

How long ‘till Enzo is telling us about his first ‘important’ injury then?

Muscle problem?

Winks backup instead of an Ndidi replacement I’m guessing. Maybe try playing Choudhury in the Ndidi role?

No. Choudhury is only of the most negative players I have seen. 9/10 he looks backwards without even looking forward. No creativity.

Ndidi’s ball control is bad, but at least he has always had that instinct with vision and ideas.

Except that attack & drive for Cannons goal..

Choudhury plays how he is asked to,just like Justin

who passes back as often but also feeds Mavididi

or drives into space,or scores pearlers

Enzo has shouted out and broadcasted, playing backwards

aint a sin,and often sets up the next drive forward….

seems you ain’t caught up yet..

Honestly don’t think we need Sensi.

He’s injury prone and well past his best.

He could look good at this level I guess but personally I think our squad is fine anyway.

The interesting time will be the summer. THEN we’ll have to invest properly.

I’m convinced this signing had been made because of Wilfs injury.

I think you're right. We've looked a lot less effective when he hasn't played and now he's out for a while. This is a calculated risk, as others have said.

I think if we keep him fit he will be a good PL player and will surprise a lot of our fans. Good ball winner, good passer, always has time on the ball, it has the potential to be a masterstroke for 2 mil.

And a couple like Iversen and Ward off the wage bill is probably enough.

Be interesting to see what happens with Kel and Bouba.

Is Cambiasso the only import from Serie A that has added value to our team? I'm excluding the brief Mancini cameo. As that was like a chess grandmaster playing with Anstey u10s chess team.

I'll be having no Benalouane slander in this house
