Clever Fox Posted 11 January 2024 Posted 11 January 2024 A loan for 2 Million to help guarantee promotion, I guess it's worth the risk. If he plays out the rest of the season sign him then on a permanent contract.
Long Eaton Fox Posted 11 January 2024 Posted 11 January 2024 We can all dream but Maresca says we have no money to buy until we sell.

He's likely correct in a general sense, but Sensi would be £1m a season in the accounts over 2 years or £650k over 3 years. I'd be astonished if we're that close to the bread line.

Maybe try playing Choudhury in the Ndidi role? No. Choudhury is only of the most negative players I have seen. 9/10 he looks backwards without even looking forward. No creativity. Ndidi’s ball control is bad, but at least he has always had that instinct with vision and ideas.

Choudhury plays how he is asked to,just like Justin who passes back as often but also feeds Mavididi or drives into space,or scores pearlers Enzo has shouted out and broadcasted, playing backwards aint a sin,and often sets up the next drive forward…. seems you ain’t caught up yet.. MPH Posted 12 January 2024 Posted 12 January 2024 4 yr contract to an injury prone player. Nice to see the old Leicester hasn’t completely disappeared… 3

Guest Col city fan Posted 12 January 2024 Posted 12 January 2024 Honestly don’t think we need Sensi. He’s injury prone and well past his best. He could look good at this level I guess but personally I think our squad is fine anyway. The interesting time will be the summer. THEN we’ll have to invest properly.

We've looked a lot less effective when he hasn't played and now he's out for a while. This is a calculated risk, as others have said.
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 12 Posted 12 January 2024 Posted 12 January 2024 I mean we did sign someone with a fractured spine and sold hirst for 1.75M to a team who are flying and now people are saying that Cannon is the next Vardy so who knows maybe the Seagrave curse was just another of Brendan’s curses.

I think if we keep him fit he will be a good PL player and will surprise a lot of our fans. Good ball winner, good passer, always has time on the ball, it has the potential to be a masterstroke for 2 mil.

Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 12 January 2024 Posted 12 January 2024 Is Cambiasso the only import from Serie A that has added value to our team? I'm excluding the brief Mancini cameo. As that was like a chess grandmaster playing with Anstey u10s chess team.

Castagne came from Atalanta and I know some don’t rate him, but he was a solid player for us for most of his time here. 6
