Sad thing is, he's got a brilliant chant when he scores but we just never get the opportunity to sing it

How he scored 4 in one game for us tells you the service was impeccable

Or how bad the opponent was.

coincidentally got pumped 7-1 by Zennit 4 days later

Got mugged off multiple times by an 18 year old centre back who easily has more technical ability than him

Only way he could stop it was to snap his leg

Probably still marked him out of the game if he stayed on

Should never play again for us. Compete waste of space with possibly one of the worse first touches I've seen at this level.

I was particularly impressed when he dummied himself in the first half.

Even more impressive was little Annie who at just 8 years old and one of the mascots, tackled him and floored him on his way down the tunnel after the game.

Asking him to do the iheanacho role today was just setting a player already struggling and out form up for a rough game. Ruud masterclass again

Exactly.
The role of the coach is to put a player on the field in best position to give them every chance of success.

Dreadful from Ruud. Dakar should play on the last man and run in behind. He is not a player who can drop and receive under pressure.

If someone farts loudly near Daka, the SPL level knocks him right down. Some call it a disability, others - a touch of class.

I remember that game and it supports my theory on Daka - that’s he’s capable when he’s under no pressure and there is no player anywhere near him…

I actually miss the heady old days when Daka had fans on here like Finnegan who’d argue with our 50p boots/trampoline touch comments -  throwing stats back us that he was actually statistically our best striker, despite what we could see with our eyes. He doesn’t even get this back-up these days…

Statistically worse on headline stats than Akinbiyi (goals per game). That says everything about where he is as a striker.

He's not a good player, but yesterday you had to remind yourself that he's a striker. He spent large parts of the game at RB or trying to link up play in midfield. Ruud set him up to fail with his stupid tactics.

Did you see his two shots though. One straight down the middle for the defender to block, think I could hit a ball better, and one that went very wide.

That applies to a Sunday league pub player, at least they wouldn't be on 70K a week

Wherever he was playing last night, doesn’t mean you can only control the ball if you are a striker. His first touch is as bad as anyone I’ve seen. He can run fast but it’s not a race and if he ever manages to have the ball at his feet, he can’t control it to run with. He’s got away with a lot of flack because fans want to see him do well and he seems a genuinely nice guy. We are so weak in midfield as neither Ndidi nor Soumare can be trusted to pick up the ball and carry it forward, without losing control of it. We are so out of touch with how other teams play. How many do we see who, when a ball is played to them on the edge of the box, have a shot. What do we do? We keep passing it across the box to the other side or play it backwards. There were several times last night when we had throw ins near the opp. penalty box, within about 10 seconds, the ball was back with Hermandson. Most of the games we play is as though we are actually winning and just keeping possession in our own half. RVN should not have been appointed in the first place. He was just a famous name for the board to brag about. I sincerely hope he’s gone by next season.
