Pliskin Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 This is rubbish. They’ve probably made a tentative enquiry and that’s about it. Selling him now would be suicidal.
kingpowerout Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 Times have changed when Brighton are plucking our best players 2
FrankieADZ Posted 26 January 2024 Author Posted 26 January 2024 given Brighton will be dealing with Whelan, I cant imagine we'll back down from £30mil+ given the position we are in the league etc and the fact we'll get alot more money from going up too

Selling him now would be suicidal. Ornstein is a genuine ITK, so there is something in this. Don't understand the club selling him so late in the window, will be difficult to get replacements. Unless he pushes for the move. Began the day thinking we'd get Sensi in and we're sorted. The next few days of the transfer window could be wild!
Nalis Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 Why is everyone panicking? Is there any truth in this or is it just the usual transfer gossip shite?
Fox 4 Life Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 30m is a joke, he's contracted until 2026 isn't he.

Chelmofox Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 (edited) I said this in the KDH thread a few weeks back, and every one said i was talking out of my backside. Could see something like this coming. Now seems to be depend on if his head is turned or not. He's looked mardy for a few games now and hate to say but Brighton is a decent move for him. Life on the PL will be hard next season with the foxes. Edited 26 January 2024 by Chelmofox 1

It would be suicide to sell him now, if you’re going to sell a key asset sell them when you’ve actually got ****ing time to make other signings. I’d be fuming if the club did this, ****ing fuming. If he isn’t in the squad tomorrow, I think we can start to worry. Edited 26 January 2024 by Pliskin

Poznan34 Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 Selling the local lad/future captain/heartbeat of the team to fund the signing of an injury prone Serie A reject at the behest of a manager who's been here 6 months is not the move 1 1
Happy Fox Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 If we can use the money and invest it in the likes of Nanasi, Sensi and maybe someone like Morgan Whittaker we would be cooking.
orangecity23 Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 No need to worry, it's a position we have loads of cover in, the fee we get will definitely be substantial and agreed quickly, and we have a great record of signing players quickly and efficiently in January so there will definitely be some top drawer replacements sorted so we don't have to play the crucial end of the season with the financial wellbeing of the future of the club at stake with a massive depletion in a key position and a hacked off manager. Oh, wait....
ronnup Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 No chance. If he maintains his levels in the Prem he's worth 60 plus. Without him we're a much less likely promotion bet. Unless they've got a solid replacement lined up it isn't happen 1
goose2010 Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 It's a odd signing and very unlike Brighton. They mention the pull of European football? They could be out in a couple of months and can't see them making it this season. 1
Danno Posted 26 January 2024 Posted 26 January 2024 Is he good enough for Brighton? Bloke can barely control the ball let alone pass with his right foot. 3 1
