Is this any different to Ornstein, except that our asking price is much higher?

All about the spin, and clickbaiting / bigging up the story so they can repeat on SSN. Especially given how quiet the window has been

He's more reliable on Leicester than Ornstein. Ornstein never, ever has exclusives on us.

What absolutely would not surprise me is that Brighton or Brentford have leaked something to Ornstein, who usually has stuff on the London clubs, to put a bit of pressure on.

And in turn Leicester have told Dorsett they aren't interested in selling. That's it.

They're possibly hoping to unsettle KDH but can't see that happening at all.

This is probably exactly what has happened both are correct but Ornstien has his info from Brighton side and Dorset from lcfc side

Embarrassing. Get rid.

This deserved such a better reaction than the none that it got.

If we got £30-£40m we’re stupid not to sell. Balance things out and allows us a war chest to secure promotion and perhaps add some players of potential or current prem quality

How many days do we have to replace him? This isn’t the summer with 2 months left of the window

In the summer, that is understandable… if we were only mid table I would get it. You don’t sell when you are on the verge of promotion though it is the most ridiculous thing any club can do.

I can only imagine that someone somewhere is thinking that promotion is in the bag ( dangerous) more rebuilding is needed and it’s easier/ cheaper to do that now rather than wait until the summer. That’s if we sell. We might not.

Fatawu for example, wouldn’t have been able to go straight into a starting prem team. He should be fine next season if we get promoted. Same for  Mavididi and Hermansen.

Give me some of what you have been taking.

With 5 days of the window left, this is impossible. If we sell him now, with no replacement, we’re not going up.

If anyone thinks promotion is in the bag they are really naive that is for sure, but I guess I have seen this club do stupid things before lol

If we sell KDH now there's a very real chance we don't get promoted. There's also a very real chance we do what we love doing and overpay for one or more players that won't have half the impact but gets to suckle on our teet for 3 or 4 years.

Can't see this one happening at all unless his head is turned. Hopefully he actually wants to see the job through with us.

Rob Dorsett is suddenly more reliable than Ornstein because he's saying what we want to hear?

I mean neither are in Percy levels of LCFC news reliability wise. They both seem to put out speculation and rumours whereas Percy tends to only put out pretty solid info

Had this been very January, then a sale at very good money might, just might, have made sense providing a suitable replacement was identified and available. Now, with no time really left, this would be madness and really jeopardise our promotion chances.

This sounds a lot better to me because there no chance they’ll pay 40 for him never mind anymore. This would be top of the shite decisions chart for the last few year if he left now.

Give over it would be a disaster to let him go.

There is also the other outlook where it would be a disaster to not lot him go if it meant FFP punishment and missing out on promotion due to a points deduction

The FFP would come in to play if we wanted to get more players in, hence why we’re paying 2M for the new lad and we’ve not splashed the cash. We don’t need to sell to comply with it if we only bring one in.

I’ve not kept up with all the rules and punishments throughout the league etc. But you are right, at this stage the only way we sell is if we are going to be on the end of a punishment so severe it makes it stupid to not sell.

We will not break FFP this season.
