I’m surprised the Coopites aren’t on here saying he played will along with Ayew………….

I thought he played well alongside Ayew

dont know who saw it on the TV, but he looked furious to be coming on, absolutely hates it here. Just freeze him out and bring on Alves ffs

Him and Alves are completely different players, there’s no comparison at all. Soumare, was brought on to add a bit of physicality and be a presence in midfield - that is never going to be Alves.

Alves is behind Buonannote and El Khannous.

Whether Soumare did an effective job on not is up for debate, but he’s not the player keeping Alves out the team.

the stage we were at, you just need a player that can run, tackle, recieve the ball and dribble, Soumare is not interested in doing any of that in a leicester shirt, so why is he even on the bench?

One of the players that insisted on a move last season because he felt he was better than the championship despite being woefully out of his depth in the Premier League.

Should never pull on the shirt again - terrible player and dreadful attitude.

I'll be booing him onto the pitch next time.

Yes, that will help.

I'm not sure in what position he came on. But you'd think if it was attacking mid Mcateer or anyone else would be better. And if it were in a deeper role Winks or Riccy P would be better.

So in short. How the absolute feck did Cooper feel he was next best to get on the park? 🫣

I don't think it will.

But what other outlet do I have for my intense frustration and strong feeling that he shouldn't be on the pitch in any form?

I can't communicate with the club because it's become a vicious parody of a family club that actually only wants total genuflection from it's - and I use this word pointedly - customers.

I can't front him up at the end of the game because society has elevated footballers to demi-god status whose very existence is preserved and protected as though they are of any importance at all to the wider world.

What do you suggest? Even venting spleen on here yields snark from yourself.

First, and most importantly of all, I hear you, and I appreciate you responding like this.

Second, the reason I largely avoid it all now is BECAUSE I know how contextually irrelevant we all are, really. So I can rage about it, or spend my energies elsewhere.

Thirdly, please forgive my occasional snark. Ultimately, I don't much like a lot of what appears to be going on either, and I simply wish that my fellow fan could disengage healthily, because we no longer have even the illusion of it being 'our' club anymore - I don't think it ever really was, but it certainly isn't now.

Just to say, flipping down the list of subjects, I saw your name as the most recent post.

I am always happy to see that!

Yes. I love him. I am heterosexual, but admit, I am a little gay for @HighPeakFox. I have no problem admitting this (especially after ordering 3 margaritas - on the 2-for-1 deal.)

I'm 54, still got it.

He brought Soumare on to play higher up the pitch though and we already have Winks who's a defensive midfielder. Alves or McAteer on the bench over Soumare any day of the week.

That moment where he burst past his man and got fouled…. why doesn’t he run like that more often? He clearly has raw power but he opts to slow everything down, I just don’t get the way he plays at all.

Hopefully he still wants a move back to Spain by the time January comes around

Unsurprisingly the whole ground was groaning again when they saw it was him coming on

I've heard players booed coming on. I've heard groans and even some muttering.

I've never heard the collective sigh when he came on tonight, it was a genuine :nigel:

I don't even know the value of him coming on. It's not even rotation at this stage, we're not even ten games into the season. Skipp staying on the bench instead of this turd must have him wishing he'd stayed at Spurs.

Tired himself out didn't he lol
