For me we are crying out for an experienced head for Enzo to lean on.

Where is the experience in our coaching set up?

All come from youth football and one was still playing last season.

I recall some were concerned about this when we appointed them.

Is there anyone who will speak up and say "boss, this isn't working, lets try this".

Rudders likes taking on extra responsibility, and didn't he coach the youth team when they were utter shit?

I think we lack leadership on the pitch, to get through games too. For me, it’s crying out for Coady, yes we have a philosophy and principles, but whatever Enzo thinks, there is also an element of ‘getting the job done!’. And that needs to restart on Friday.

At least he’s got a measured, contesting journalist mate who’s there to raise things to him and not rammed up his aris

Hughes has done well to survive through Cooper and RVN reigns especially as not seen any significant improvement from him being there. Maybe has taught Ayew how to score straight from a corner.

Not exactly done a whole lot wrong to be honest. Not exactly conceded a bucket load from set pieces. Everyone uses Brentford as a shining light - their model is employ coaching staff for the club not the manager. Hence Andrews’ promotion.

Strongly agree, we should have a core set of coaches that are brought through the academy as they progress/develop etc. We bring through players, why shouldn't we bring through and develop coaches
