Henry Winter, the FSA and Kieran Maguire have all shared the statement.

The only way out is embarrassing them from the outside if they won’t listen to the fans.

The more external scrutiny the better

Imagine we'll see more pick this up today. Winter also does a Sunday show on talksport so expect it to get a mention then.

Embarrassing for the club to hold 2 supporter club meetings and to not alter position. Both statements are damming for the club and how it is run.

They think they've been accommodating that's one of the worst bits lol

I'm glad the majority of the fanbase has woken up to what they're like.

If the security and access was such an issue they should be transparent and go into detail as to why. The reason they don't is because it's a non-issue.

And they're hesitant to fully explain they don't want people passing tickets around. "Legitimately pass on tickets to family" Bullshit.

Also noted they're adding more  stewards to the turnstiles to "help people". Also BS. They're useless, and spend most of the time standing as statues or feeling up people for "dangerous items"

I'd previously had 11 monthly direct debits with a "holiday" in June (which was handy as it covered the annual brown bin charge which happens to fall in June, insert "load of rubbish" joke.....I digress) , new DD schedule notification shows 12 payments, so actually going down a little per month despite overall increase but 1 will now be taken in June. Is this a (small part of) cunning plan to help beat the FFP? To me Auto renew means auto renew as in I didn't need to visit site to review options etc so why should terms change :dunno:

Email sent to Jim at LCFC after his short justification of cost email to me this morning, where hes saying I dont need to pay, its not Compulsory, I can use a phone

That's not the point is it? - and you know it

It's Compulsory if you want to keep your card.

I work for a Bank, who give their customers Debit Cards and Credit Cards for Free.

A new one for Free If you lose one, too.

They work perfectly well all over the country, all over the world actually.

Not just in one place, at a turnstile, in Leicester.

...and most importantly those Cards are for up to 5 years these days.

Not thrown away because they make them obsolete after a year, like Leicester City.

So if a Plastic Card can be used so well, and for so long, without replacement.

......do you want me to put to our Board that we start charging £25 a Card, to everyone under 65yo?

...or £25 a Year for every Card we provide to a Customer?

How do you think I'd sound, with my employer, if I did that?

.....and told them that its the future, everyone can just use their phones to pay for everything now...we shouldn't be giving them Cards anymore.

● But if they want one they can pay for it.

● If they lose one they can pay for it

● we can make them obsolete too, after a year and make them pay for a new one

How do you think the Board of that Bank would take my idea?

They'd tell me I am an idiot.

Customers come first.
If you mistreat them in this way,  they will go elsewhere

So.....
Back to Leicester City, and their position

It appears,
● because fans have nowhere else to go
● because this is our club

That some faceless people currently employed by our club. Think they can do what they like to us.

Well, I'd say, think again.
Not for the first time, recently they've not read the room at all.

...and in the middle of a celebratory period we are having conversations like these, where faceless club employees pick on their customers with misguided ideas again.

Shame on these people, and in those that seek to justify it to the fans of Leicester.

You're out on you own with this one yet again, living in a vacuum.

I was thinking of of sending the club a similar email, I don’t think I could have written it better than this.

I’m not sure how the digital ticket will admit me into the ground more efficiently,

currently I hold my card to the sensor, it goes green, a buzzer sounds and the gate

opens, how can that be improved on?

met scotsman jim once seems he is a nice guy with  a job he loves and so is towing the line as i would i'm very sad to say, as working for lcfc my passion would have been a dream ,  its the ones who are behind the scenes who want customers to replace season ticket supporters and  want members to think they are valued ! which started 8 years ago emm  when every1 and their dog wanted a piece of the pie  , 10 year ago i sat in my own season tkt seat for last 3 games sheff weds brighton and donny rvs as pre that i chose one of seats at back o stand as there were spaces of empties and i like that ,  people didn't wana know , now they do the club have become arrogant beyond belief. i love my team and shall always but the hideaway staff i hope get ousted asap. coyb

Who's renewed yet?

I will, I'll probably do it next weekend.

I'm on DD so auto renew. I had the mobile ticket system, and the only time I had an issue was against Norwich where loads did.

Auto renewal. My lads debut season as a ST Holder last season and I paid it outright however moved him to DD this season.

Will begrudgingly pay the £25 over the next few days.

The Foxes Trust is aware of members and supporters who have had difficulties in renewing season tickets and paying for their physical season ticket cards online.

Whilst the Trust still opposes the £25 charge for a physical season ticket, for those wishing to purchase one, the way to do so has not been made clear enough by the club..... advice  therefore provided here

Anybody know when memberships can be renewed?

And will they be mobile and/or paid card?

I mean talk of being 'eco friendly' or 'falling behind digitally' as two of the reason why the club is trying to abolish cards - it's been beyond me for years why when a member buy's a ticket for a game it simply doesn't just get loaded/credited onto the membership card.

apologies if this has been asked before but my season ticket has automatically renewed, how do I pay for the card? Typically the online system isn’t the easiest.

Northcroft has gotten hold of it this morning too.

He makes a good point too. How have we gone from being the only club to vote against PPV during lockdown to this?

I did mine yesterday, pretty straightforward online.

Follow the instructions on the post above from the foxes trust

Have I imagined it or was there a bloke to the right of SK1 having a go at those protesting against the 25 quid charge on Saturday?
