how do you know if coady didnt concede that pen then we win? they were all over us.

Throwing another defender on who's barely kicked a ball for us. He breeds negativity and ultimately it cost us

He made negative changes, the only one which was like for like was Abdul for Stephy the other two removed virtually any attacking intent and basically said we will try and soak it up and cling on, and we shit the bed.

 

It isn’t unhinged to question a manager who is continually making bizarre team selections,  substitutions and tactical errors. 3 of arguably our most talented players left on the bench for the entirety of the game. 

 

It was an underwhelming appointment in my opinion and so far overall his performance also in my opinion has been underwhelming and his decision making utterly utterly baffling. 
 

Palace are a decent side but that is it, they are beatable and with more attacking intent and ambition we could have gone on and scored 3 or 4 by capitalising on the spaces they would have left chasing an equaliser. We literally gave them nothing to worry about and enable them to get at us with very little risk of being hit on the break.

This is where I’m at. Understandable against the likes of Spurs and Villa (though I think against Spurs he had more attacking minded players on) but not against a Palace who are in transition. I thought we’d hold out today, but we paid them far too much respect.
 

If we had got players on who could keep possession and play in their half would it have been different?

He’s the most negative manager in the league, we thought we had a deduction coming which makes it all the more baffling we appointed him.

 

We won’t touch 25 points if he’s here all season

That second half was a simple textbook show on how teams can come back from being behind. It should be shown to every team at halftime that if you continually press the opposition your more likely to score... particularly when the opposition offer to threat coming forward and go all defensive

We've had glimpses of good, but no manager at this level should be playing 10 behind the ball for 20 minutes like you are a league one side in the cup hanging on. Football at this level is well beyond that.

 

4 games in, he's made fundamental mistakes in all of them and cost us points.

 

Everton is already huge. Has to be nothing more than an impressive win or he's cooked I think.

Can't really blame him for getting hired. Shouldn't really be anywhere near a PL job. Rare miss by our board who, despite everyone despising them, have a good recent track record of getting the right man in.

 

We'll go down with him in charge, but I doubt we had too many knocking at the door with the expected sanctions.

Coadys fault today. If he doesn’t boot their lad in our area we win and are all saying how well Cooper has done.
