He’s a poor signing on the length of contract he’s on and a very average player. We should have done better in the transfer market, but we didn’t.

It’s a statement of our poor recruitment that he’s the best we’ve got, but that’s probably where we’re at. Fatawu injured, Mavididi poor and Ayew ….. is just Ayew. Also no sign on any new players.

Nice to see him making a contribution and should keep his place for the next game

What would you do with mavididi, because his work rate was poor against Fulham, as for bdcr, I've never understood the pelters he's got because we've  barely seen him, but he did a better job that stephy has so deserves to keep his place

He’s clearly a confidence player, so you have to put him in situations where he’s on the ball higher up the pitch more often than not and not lumber him with a high level of defensive responsibility.

Asking him to help defend in a low block meaning he’s got 70 / 80 yards to go before he’s an effective threat on goal isn’t going to do anything for him and his skill set.

Under Enzo he was able to play high and wide and had defensive cover around him meaning he could cheat a little - which in turn gives him space to play in.

But of course we were never going to dominate games and have 60/70% levels of possession this season - so you know, you have to pick and choose where and how you use him - and that’s probably not starting against Tottenham away from home.

Now personally - I’d like to see him tried on the right wing.

I think Justin is the more solid of our fullbacks (wait!) when asked to be more disciplined and sit and that he’d compliment Mav much more going forward by doing that than Kristiansen who seems better as an aggressive fullback that quite often goes past the winger.

Add to this that having a wide threat that can challenge on the outside can create that gap between full back and centre half that Vardy thrives on and El Kid could utilise to good effect too - I just think it would be a better fit for us and Mav, who when playing as an inverted winger in a lower block, less possession heavy system tends to end up running into traffic a lot.

Also - if you consider that when McAteer’s come on and played high right we’ve quite often looked better in an attacking sense down that flank but that maybe Kasey lacks a little in ultimate end product - that perhaps gives you a hint that this idea of Mav playing on the right is not a totally wild idea at all.

What i have found strange with stephy this season is when he's been 1 on 1 on the left, he's chosen to on the outside rather than coming inside and having a dig, that's what he did well, but he hasn't been doing it

It was easier done against Championship levels defenders.

He seems to be fair more effective on the left. He was also unlucky that Bilal didn't see his clever little run into the channel behind their defence just before half time.

As much as I'd rather we signed a younger player who can develop, today he was effective and showed intelligence in his play today.

I also feel that we have real competition on the left for Mavi.

Thought he looked quite sharp in Ruuds first two games against West Ham and Brighton so a bit odd hes barely featured since considering how shite our ‘wingers’ have been. Fair play to him, hopefully he can kick on

Is that for this protest?

No way should it name players like that ahead of a game. Surely those organising have more sense than that?

It was. And I fully agree. They’ve since changed the sample messages.

I subscribe to the belief that the club has been allowed to fall into unacceptable disarray and that change is sorely needed but whoever is running the gofundme and the PR Twitter account just comes across as childish.

He's not very fast or technical but my word does he get into some great positions, the cross for the first goal and that run he made just before half time, I tried to imagine mavididi being in those positions without the ball and my nose started bleeding

"We've got the same defence that went down last time" is so so funny to me

Down with this sort of thing!

Please don't S(a)tay at our club.

Could possibly be considered racist.

I mean, it is racist, but I'm talking from a legal perspective and therefore see action taken against protestors.

I'd bin that one.

You can't argue with his contributions when he's played. Historically he's played more on the right then the left. I think if he plays at RW, with Bilal on the LW and Facundo at CAM, that will give us a better balance.

Where's the racism there?

It's singling out the owners nationality as if it's relevant. If the owners were English, there wouldn't be, "English you weren't here!"
