I thought he was poor pal, lost the ball on a number of occasions offered nothing really

Yeah it was my video feed. Everytime it worked he happened to be average which was good for him.

Fair play mate. I watched on a stream that wasn't the most reliable and probably saw 75% of the game at most .... And most of that not focused on BDCR.

The bits I saw of him he looked like he was at least attempting to press and he did look like he linked up play well effectively at times in the first half.

Having said that I need no encouragement to agree he's the pits and on his wage he is a poison.

Pressing was fine for the most part.

It's the stuff he does on the ball. Or doesn't do that's the issue!

He hides in possession, just doesn’t show for the ball. It was night and day when Mukasa was on, he immediately stood out as passing option.

With Ayew and Reid we have two wingers that aren’t dynamic enough to play out wide anymore so they’ve ended up on the middle by default. Then, they end up drifting anywhere other than the 9 and 10 positions - just doesn’t work

Mukasa has to start in front of him from now on. Offers so much more.

It's just staggering that king, sadler, Rowett, Ciufentes and Davidson consider BdcR anything other than a last resort. Let alone play ahead of the likes of Winks or Mukasa.

No hyperbole. It's unfathomable.

Had a poor game today coughing up possession regularly, but I think he's in the team ahead of others because of his work rate. If you look at his pitch map, he played mostly as a CDM, closing space and protecting the defence in a 433 formation. Mukasa is different, he's an out and out 10.

It looked like our tactics from the start of the game were to prevent Bristol City coming through the centre. Rowett probably selected Reid for this match as he thought he is more disciplined and better defensively in the No.10 position to help prevent them playing through the middle of us compared to our other options we have there (e.g. Mukasa).

We kept our first clean sheet in about 30 matches so it appeared to work...

If fine talking on here But the manager picks the team. Must see something we don’t in Reid

Can we fvck this waster off or stuck with him in L1 too? He's been a total waste of money from the get go and will get eaten alive in the hustle and bustle of L1

3 year contract for a 31 year old

Brilliant business

Hopefully someone in the Championship or abroad is stupid enough to take him off our hands (I doubt it - 1 more season of Bobby Reid not being able to kick a ball properly)

He’s another senior pro that has been picked for his “experience” no doubt. We’d have been no worse off just playing any attacking midfielder from the academy.

Christ even put me in the 10 and I’ll be okay. Last time I checked the wind didn’t knock me over
