He’d be another Cooper. Lovely guy, speaks well, “gets it”, but dosen’t have the tactical nous or motivational skills to be a top level manager.

At this point I’m just waiting for the first screen announcement at the King Power stadium to wish Happy Birthday to someone called:  Koo Prout

I think people will look back at his spell at United and realise he actually got them ticking to a degree.

That is until United played Leicester! We ended their unbeaten run of 10 games, and following season the 4-2 win was one of a number of results that led to his dismissal. I am surprised his name still comes up given he has not been a manager since Man U - 3 years ago. I think I wouldeven  prefer Cooper - but that is a reflection of the anticipation for future of City if OGJ was to become manager.

Doesn't look like we'll get our wish of getting rid of Cooper during the international break unfortunately.

After we’ve gifted Brussel a first win and saved his job for a game we might……

Cooper came round to do some maintenance on the servers, ended up taking out the brand new ssd drives and processor, then replaced them with a 20GB 3.5" disc he found in an e-waste bin and a Pentium II, because they were "more experienced". The Pentium broke straight away, but he insisted on not substituting it until 70 minutes later.

Nigel Pearson who is rightly considered a hero at this club had a vastly superior squad that became our greatest ever team the next season in our first season back last time and had us bottom for a lot of it. I think Cooper will keep us up easily with a a squad nowhere near that one:ph34r:

I think you mean your wish as it isn't mine.

My confidence in upper management having a contingency plan is extremely minimal.  We saw what happened when they tied a can to Rodgers ass !!!! The contingency plan was to give the job to the goalie coaches .

You are trusting the people who hired Cooper to properly replace him !!    Good Luck !!

He got such a free ride as Man U manager in the media only because he was either an ex team mate or pally with them all

And if they leave it too late just like they did with Rodgers we'll be relegated again.

It's surely the new "Steve Kean out!" craze of early 2010s Blackburn vintage!

Being honest, regardless of who or how we as supporters think we should be playing, there is no way he is being sacked without us being in the bottom 3 or getting turned over in games.
We as supporters need to get behind the club and back them, he’s doing a solid C+ job at the moment, which is fine for now. The only goal this season is to stay up, then we build from there, which potentially includes a thank you Steve and we move on, but Cooper right now is doing exactly the job he was brought into do - make us tough to beat and keep us up - so far, without setting the world on fire he’s doing just that.
If you’re expecting him to be sacked any time soon, you’re going to be very disappointed.
