People focussing on Coote but IMO he's a victim. The lad recording has been in a position to hold this video against him and it's clear the video took place during lockdown.

 

So for 3/4 years the lad recording has held this video as potentially blackmailed a Premier League referee.  Implications of this could be monumental.

incident one: the Nunez goal - coote’s apparently didn’t think Salah was fouled in the build up - which would’ve been a bad decision had Nunez not scored BUT

 

Incident two - Ollie Watkins goes down in the box and Coote’s books Watkins for a foul on Konate.

 

He’s been utterly stupid but Liverpool fans pretending there is some bigger conspiracy is also stupid
