Can anyone please explain why our best player is never picked to start or even brought on as a sub on Saturday, is he injured has he got bad breath or something?

Because Cooper wants a right back to fill in with the 2 cbs making a three in possession.  Justin is probably more suited to that role even though Ricardo is the better player overall.

The only contact with the club should be cooper's head with a 9 iron.

To much risk that we might score more with him in the team so doesn’t play him. Next game we will line up with Coady and vesty instead of Mav and Vardy just to make sure we have enough defensive players on incase we go 1-0 up

As others have pointed out the reason seems to be that Cooper wants a more defensive/physically robust fullback on the right to slot in at centre back. However the one very small issue with this is……. Ricardo is the best footballer at the club by a fairly large margin and not playing him is absolutely mental. He’s also a model pro and deserves to be treated far better. I’m actually one of the “you have to give Cooper time” fans but his treatment of Ricardo is baffling and he needs to realise soon that he has to be the first name on the team sheet.

Should have brought him as a winger to help Justin’s side, instead of playing Ayew until he couldn’t move his legs, and then asking Fatawu to cover both wing positions.
