Exposed boring armchair experts that thrive on irrational arguments like yourself?

So that's a no then? lol poor reply.

Also, I'm a season ticket holder for 14 years, go to some away days and happy to listen to everyones opinions. Just for reference

this is where the timing charts are important:

The little red card I've drawn on is where Phillips gets sent off. You look at that, we create 2 good chances against ten men but barely anything of note for the previously 77 minutes. You cannot rely on opponents getting sent off and having the man advantage as a creative strategy.

Fortunately the real game is played grass, not computer screens.

First away game I’ve been to in a while… thought we were controlling the game without really hurting them. Which is disappointing bearing in mind how fragile they’ve been defensively.

individually, I think we have better players, but we play like a newly promoted side. Happy with a point… however, as much as I’ve been annoyed with coopers team selection and tactics this season, as (imo) I felt he finally picked our best team.

Anyway, all in all, what I watched was 2 teams likely to go down. Only difference being was we had players who could come off the bench and make a difference. Ipswich didn’t have that.

Southampton and Ipswich will go down, it’s just whether we can find another team worse than us to go with them or not

Soumare by the way… he did more in 15 mins than any midfielder today and he’s had loads of stick (rightly).

Vestergaard and Faes need to stay now as our centre backs

All their fans crying on Twitter about being robbed & how the prem is corrupt after not being given a penalty.

That has genuinely made my day. I remember them last season saying the KDH foul wasn’t a penalty  (yes I need to move on but I won’t)

Just a shame the Ayew goal wasn’t a deflection

Soumare was excellent today when he came on.

That's what he can do, We just haven't seen enough of it.

Let's hope it gives him the confidence lift he needed and we see more from him.

As he can be so much better.

Poor old Tractor Boys complaining again that everyone and everything is against them, claiming they where the better side and controlled the game throughout should have had a penalty and the red card was never a red.

If it’s to hot in the kitchen then get out and go back to the Championship where you belong.😭😭😭😭😭

You don't pal, they were the luckiest team I've ever seen last season, it was almost every week!

Just a note, if you’re buying an away ticket, just sit in the seat you buy.

“But I wanna be with my mates, does it matter? It’s an # AwayDay, sit wherever!”…no **** off to where you bought your ticket.

Saves a whole lot of aggro for everyone else and you’re just being a nob otherwise, ain’t even just young uns, you’ve got 40 odd year old blokes doing it too.

No chance mate sorry but this is such a bad shout. It is common knowledge that away games you stand where you want.

I'm on a rival fans message board.       Have to refrain from profanities and stinging attacks but that was painful.     You should have lost, we should be celebrating our first victory back in the premier league but not for the first time we shot ourselves in the foot and a culmination of poor refereeing, loss of focus at critical moments and again having a player sent off cost us dear by the end.     It was so close, really thought victory was there and to have it snatched away so late in the game, not for the first time, really stings.   Even the most ardent Leicester fan should admit they got away with it and escaped with a point that another time they would have taken nothing from it.

It's pretty clear even a handful of games in we're just not of PL standard.    10 games now without a win, it's no coincidence.     Said before the signs are there we show at times belief and determination but a number of stupid errors cost us time and again.    You can only get away with so many and we're well on our way to crossing a certain line.      30,000 back at Portman Road is great, it's fantastic after all the shit seasons we had to endure but the fans just aren't getting enough reward for it.

Tough to say more without losing it as the win was there and we allowed it to slip.     It's not the first time this season and it won't be the last.    Think somehow we're going to be busy during the next transfer window.    McKenna again left certain players on the bench when they should have been involved from the start.   He's a wonderful manager no doubt but the options he puts out each game do leave a number of our fans frustrated or knowing we could start out better prepared.

Mate you've blasted from league 1 to the prem. Enjoy the money and use it wisely, enjoy the season while it lasts and don't get too down.

I will caveat this by saying I think cooper is a dreadful manager at this level and it's only going to end one way, but I will say the players are fighting to the end and not giving in, he certainly deserves some credit for that, we've probably both seen teams that were tactically limited and couldn't be arsed.

sorry to be a a boblet but you don’t seem very happy to listen to other peoples opinions at all..

We’ve gone to two relegation rivals and not lost. I think that’ll be massive come the end of the season.

A word on the defence - all along I’ve said I don’t think they are good enough for the Prem, as they weren’t two years ago. I’ve seen very little evidence to the contrary so far and it’s mad people seem to think it’s good enough to be mid-table.Today though they stood up to a lot of pressure and a referee who let a lot go. They defended far better than I thought they would. They weren’t outbullied against a lively attack.

As many were, I was annoyed about Cooper’s early selections but I’m more now actually understanding why Cooper lined up as he did for the start of the season. Today was great for a bit, then Ipswich pushed up higher so we lumped it long and barely won a header, so the ball kept coming back. It’s not as easy passing through as it was in the Champ and those front players were at best, completely isolated even in this game against what I reckon most neutrals would say is fellow Champ opposition.

Ayew was the last Prem player I’d want us to sign. I genuinely didn’t rate him at all. Thought he was selfish and past it. I’ve been really surprised with how much he brings. He did it less so today, but just winning a free kick was more than most of our front three did it in that middle 60 minutes. Yeah, it’s easier with a man extra, but I’ve really see how useful it is and why bringing at least one of Mads and Fatawu on rather than starting them might be beneficial.

Others are right, you need to finish above one other team than those promoted, (something not managed by last year’s promoted sides) but we’re probably best equipped to do that, something I didn’t think at the start of the season given the changes.

For me, watching that, and previous games, it's a scarefest.

My hope at the start of the season was that we wouldn't be the kicking boys of the PL and, tbf we're not. It's just watching us play and a disappointment that we show nothing exciting.

If I was watching paint dry, in the end I'd be happy because it did what I hoped for, but just watching it would be a painful, dull and tedious experience.

yea, and on grass we play shit for the most part like the data suggests

As much as I agree, we seem to have this superpower of not being total shite when it actually matters. Will it last? Unlikely.

I didn't until today. Gifted us a point and made sure there's still a 5-point gap between us and the team he plays for.

#Leg #End #Thanks
