Everyone tells me it’s all about XG and ours was highest today so those people must be pleased.

Strange game when someone has been sent off but your continual incorrect assumption about how people use / analyse xG is maddening man.

Let's face it, except for the first 15-20 mins, Ipswich were the better team. We were just dreadful with more or less the team we've all been crying for. There is no direction, tactics are non existent and the players just seen confused, causing errors and lack of cohesion.

He needs to go, clearly he is out of his depth. The next run of games we will get very little from, but at least with a new manager bounce, or some direction, we can put up a fight on those games.

Ipswich must be wondering what on earth they have to do to get a win.   13 points dropped from winning positions.  Has to be demoralising.

Don't know how we keep managing to scrape points here and there.

It really isn't pretty.

The saving grace is that Cooper is getting the results just about. But if there's a better manager willing to take the job I'd still make the switch.

We've a tough run coming up so let's see how we get on over the next few.

It's turning into a long old season, that's for sure.

Great goal but we got away with that big time. Ipswich weren't particularly great, we dominated early on, then we were never really in it the game til they had Phillips sent off - which should've happened in the first half after he deliberately elbowed Buonanotte in the back of the head.

Bouba did fantastic work in the build up to our goal, hasn't often received praise in his years here. That moment was so important.

It's a carbon copy of Forest's first season under him. Look absolutely dreadful but somehow just do enough. He might keep us up, and I hope he does, but we've got to say thank you and goodbye and get a proper manager in to kick on. I can't stand watching this every week. It's so bad.

No PL team will thrive under him. We’d be comfortably mid table with a better manager.

I mean, we did have the best chances anyway. Mavadidi should score to put us 1 up. They have one pot shot and score, exactly the same as last season.

Nothing gained here other than stopping Ipswich winning their first game. A draw isn't a terrible result but that performance was beyond terrible. These players are miles better than the performances this season have shown and that is all down to a clueless, inept manager. Rarely have I felt so strongly about removing a manager, especially so early into a tenure but we just cannot accept these performances. I fully expect us to lose/draw more than we win and fully expect a relegation battle but i cannot accept this level of performance when it's clear these players are better than this. I didn't even celebrate the Ayew goal and that really isn't like me, especially a late goal but I feel physically sick at how poor we've been this season.

Really, really poor. Red card bailed us out (again). I've seen enough to know we're not going anywhere under Cooper.

Late and undeserved equaliser against these is satisfying after last season though. Reaction of their fans behind the goal lol

In terms of our survival prospects that is the worst possible outcome IMO but good to land a blow on Ipswich and their team of lower league foul merchants

Well, you'd take it given the circumstances and the way the game was heading. Doesn't make it right but people wanna talk hypotheticals of how we should have won v Palace but threw it away, the opposite here.

Don't get me wrong, I want us to be playing well and winning but equally love a shithouse result.

It didn't sound great, but people have gotta realise how far we've fallen......Perhaps they should have been careful about what they preached when being careful what we wished for (Yeah, you're right. I'm never gonna let that one drop).

As for Ayew and everyone slagging him off, whether they like it or not, he seems to have been quite an important signing.

Let's be honest, with our position in the table as it stands... Cooper is going nowhere at the moment. Objective is clearly to stay in the league, at this point we are on track to do that.

I know I may be alone in this.

But I think we are weaker with Ricardo in and Justin out, Justin bombs forward a lot, and seen none of that from Ricardo, dont know if his legs not good enough for that anymore or something else I dont know, but he has weakened the team in my view, Ricardo is better if you want a slow tempo passing game.

Curious who our fans will blame for Ipswich goal, as our two nearest players are both fans favourites Fatawa and Ricardo. The scapegoat wasnt on the pitch.

I also think we looked a new team when Ayew came on, Ayew not scared to shoot whenever is a chance, Cooper it feels like he is being affected by the fans, or maybe the ownership of the club has had a word, because he seems to have lost faith with the players he used earlier in the campaign. Soumare also showed great belief and energy as well.

I am in and out with this post, as the negativity on the forum surrounding Cooper I find unbearable, its the reason I havent been around the last few days.  So if anyone quotes me I probably wont reply.

2 free headers at the back post that they should've scored from

Very good point as it keeps Ipswich still waiting for a win. I think if we can get some more points on the board, even playing not great, better performances might follow. I think there's a lot of tension at the moment as there is for all clubs in and around the bottom of the table.
