Details of his backroom team are yet to be revealed, but he is expected to bring in a smaller staff than previous Leicester managers and is said to be a hands-on coach.

His experience in developing emerging talents is one of the qualities Leicester admire most. He has a reputation for becoming popular with players as he works closely with them to help them improve. For example, he spent hours working with Fabio Silva, the Wolverhampton Wanderers player who was on loan at PSV in 2023.

Not a bad thing from all points; having a hands on coach can be great for us.

You imagine an assistant coach and maybe an attack and other specialist coach alongside

I'm starting to worry he'll be going with the baby-shit green tracksuit look on match day.

If he's binned the turtle-neck I'm going to boo him all match.

I reckon he'll rock his strongest outfit tonight..

First half we looked very wonky defensively. You saw him clearly change the defensive shape in to the 442 that he had mentioned in his press conference. This meant Justin wasn't so isolated all the time and we could press the ball with more players.

Changing tactics mid game?! Cooper would never

Very good and honest interview. Between the lines saying yes 30 shots isn't acceptable moving forward but this win is massive for the confidence .. enjoy it tonight and work on the training field tomorrow

Superb in his post match interview. Him and Cooper really are chalk and cheese on every level.

Gone from a PE teacher to a proper manager and it couldn't be more noticeable.

If we had gotten him in the summer we would be in mid table by now, the hard work starts now, but I am more confident we will stay up. Ruud is class.

Its definitely early days and alot of work to be done but how good is it to see a proactive manager rather than a reactive one.

Second half, changing the attacking 3 behind the striker helped mcateer back into the game and freed up El knanouss, both who linked up for the second goal.

Bringing on Daka early for vardy. Although not involved in the second goal, got involved significantly in the second half, chasing lost causes and bagging himself a goal. Vardy played well but on a yellow and looking tired it was a good sub to make which other managers may not have done
