Makes you wonder if they feel keeping Ruud is a good option to force a good few of the likes of Winks, Vesty etc out of the club, however if they are backing him then it seems strange they haven’t told him to at least give him chance to blood some younger players such as Aluko, Cartwright, Monga, Evans etc before the end of the season in readiness for next season.

That’s a thought that hadn’t occurred to me

but it does mean that rudders would need a degree of lateral thought which is a stretch

Ruud would argue he hasn't been backed transfer wise, so he cannot implement his style of play, but even if that was the case he doesn't have a discernible style of play and the current crop of players seem unenthused.

The most puzzling thing is he seemed to implement the style he'd suggested on his 'masterclass' video in that first game/win against West Ham..... then never fielder the same players again and the 'style' dissapeared lol

I mean West Ham should have scored about 6 that day so still don't think his style works, but still baffling.

But as someone with a micro penis once said, 'you do what you can with what you have.'

There's been zero organisation or coaching of this lot since he came in.

He'd have to have been an utterly thick mug not to know what the financial implications of coming to manage leicester were, it's been all over the media for Christ's sake! Even if they had shed loads of money like Newcastle, it doesn't mean they'd be able to spend it.

The fact is some of the squad aren't good enough, some think they are far better than they actually are ie Faes and Winks. Some also have very questionable attitudes and are work shy. Most of them are an absolute disgrace and with the very odd exception, I'd rather them all clear off and us struggle in the Championship with a team that is at least fighting for the cause because it's blatantly obvious to my eyes that most of the current lot aren't. We shall go to the last match of the season to rightfully pay our respects to Jamie otherwise I have no interest in them.

I have no issues with RVN calling out those to stay close and making an example out of them if they refuse, as the lads mentioned, it's a managers responsibility to do that, I just don't like RVN cause he's tactically rubbish and he's ex-man u

Seems like Top is sympathetic with Ruud according to that article from Tanner.

Yup. Because RvN has been lumbered with £80m of Cooper's shit signings...? Sorry, who the **** sanctioned these signings in the first place, Aiyawatt?

I do always think there's an element of saving face here, too. All the reports state that Van Nistelrooy was 100% Aiyawatt's shout. Nice Aura FC.

The longer this continues, the more I'm starting to believe he's here next season.

he mentions the academy players but he doesnt have the balls to play them from the start,

WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS CLOWN NOW

Agree saving face for his part in the decision and not maybe falling out with a footballing legend probably matters a lot. Top had to trust others with signings such as Cooper and the recruitment team so I wouldn't put the new players as his responsibility

Ultimately I'm speculating but suspect Top is really hoping that the next few games will give him justification to keep Ruud on for the first 10 games next season. Personally  I don't think the results are suddenly going to turn around performances at home have been particularly poor and Southampton will probably fancy their chances as we needed a bit of luck to beat them last time with the sending off etc

I hate hearing him speak at the moment.

The sooner he leaves the better in my opinion as the bloke actually talks out of his arse. He regularly speaks about using the academy players and then will throw Monga on in the 90th minute

We have absolutely NOTHING to play for. So the likes of Braybrooke, Monga and Evans should be getting plenty of minutes in these final few games.
