I love NP for what he did for us, and I think he'll have potential as a DOF. However, his health comes first. Hes not the man he was, let him be. Let him enjoy his life.  from a Leicester prospective, he's earned it.

I have nothing but admiration for him, especially after what he has been through. A man of dignity and if he was my manager, I'll walk through walls for him.

Enjoy your life Mr Pearson. LCFC loves you more than you'll know.

So would the players who ended up playing for him.

That’s why we became how we became.

Maybe bring him back in a consultancy role where he can work to establish a backroom network of analysts, sports scientists and structure that worked so well in the past, whilst also laying the groundwork of a football strategy for the next 10 years.

Much as I love Big Nige and what he did for the club I think the “never go back” mantra is a good one here.

NP hasn’t been great at his other clubs and I think that we were very lucky to have the holy trinity of Pearson, Walsh and Shakespeare. I feel a return, amid our current demise, would only tarnish his legacy.

For whatever reason, him and us just clicked. There's examples of managers doing very well at one club and then struggling when the leave, Eddie Howe when he first left Bournemouth being a decent example.

For your own health Nige, please don't come back lol

My thoughts exactly. We don't deserve him and he doesn't deserve us

Will always be my favourite Leicester city manager

I don't quite buy in to the 'he's not done well anywhere else narrative' either.

He stabalised Bristol City on a shoestring after years of overspend and missmanagement, brought in experienced players to keep them going and blooded lots of academy talent.

Tell you what i've always found baffling though... for a sesnsible man he's worked for....

- Our owners 3 times!

- The Allams at Hull

- Derby under that absolute nutcase Morris

- Watford lol

- Bristol City and the lansdownes

Sucker for punishment?
