Under Cooper i'd describe us as plucky.

We definitely played for Cooper, and we were pinching points, playing until the end of the whistle.

There's been none of that.

Under Cooper, we got battered by Ipswich and Southampton till both of then hit the self destruct button.

Bournemouth missed about 3 sitters and Mads made some great saves.

We pinched a point v Brighton under Ruud.

Not sure what to make of it all to be honest lol

It's bad isn't it

Let's be honest here.

He only got the job because  we cant get anyone else decent.

No one will touch us with a barge pole.

He was flavour of the month at Man U and 2 of his wins was against us and our ever obliging inept board fell for his hype.

Dont think they will get it right next time either, anyone with any faith in the boards skill is stupid

2 wins

2 draws

from 11

.73 per game

I'm clutching at straws at best.

Nathan Jones was manager for 95 days at Southampton, wonder if Ruud will beat that.

Genuinely not many of the first team squad deserve their places at all

i would put all bar a few on the transfer list now

they arent playing for the shirt

The players definitely weren’t playing for Cooper before he got the boot.

Some of the revisionism on here is top level.

It was clear to see the players despised cooper.

However, that doesn't distract from the fact RVN has been pathetic. Tactics,.team selctions,. substitutions.

Same.week.in, week out.

I said weeks ago I was sceptical. He has done nothing to improve us, if anything he has made us worse.

I was thinking it could be closer to John Toshack at Wales

Yes totally agree, Ruud is no better but Cooper wasn't the solution either and certainly never over achieved.

He had a full squad to choose from, his own backroom staff, Mads in goal, refused to play Ricky, underused Bilal and Fatawu and played 3DMs every game

Signed Ayew, BDR and his piece de resistance wasting £20 plus million on Skipp.

The club is where it deserves to be and this is our short to medium term future because we don't have the finances to buy better players.

Absolutely right.

Ruud is a duff without any key personnel or staff we might as well go for someone who is experienced , I haven’t the foggiest who would be interested.. but someone like Benitez.

It’s ok for us to admit that they’ve both been awful appointments but Cooper’s will have a longer lasting impact sadly.

I think this was a bit of a “Hollywood” appointment, based on his 4 match.run win, 2 of which were against City! We needed an experienced manager not a learner who’s trying to learn at our . How can you take off the most exciting and creative player on the pitch and the only player actually travelling towards the opposition goal. So disappointing. Appointment made by someone only seeing a famous name and not looking at whether they have the know how to manage a team  in the relegation zone.

Cooper had a direct involvement in constructing the squad as it currently stands

Oh, sorry l didn't realise you were there when he specifically asked for the players, guess it would have been down to Rudkin if it was lovely Ruud.

Players are not signed in todays world purely on a managers say so, those days are gone.

Strangely the next target after Cooper- Ayew is probably the main reason we have the paltry total of points we have!

But then l suppose thats down to luck.

As I've said before, Cooper was a mistake, sacking him a worse one and appointing the next Rooney a total disaster.

For me it's a FACT that no manager could keep us up with an inept owner and a DoF who is an agents dream, and that includes the hapless Cooper who has been and was always intended to be the fall guy.

The man played Ward. TWICE. Gross misconduct.

The man still employs.Ben Jacobs - a coach who oversaw for the single worst managerial performance in our history

The man plays the exact same formation, week in week out and gets the exact same result, week in, week out.

Finally, other than a FIFA pro licence that's also been achieved by tens of thousands of people worldwide, he has absolutely no qualifications whatsoever to do the job.

What about his aura?😂

People are asking what is the point in changing manager again. Well there are managers out there who are better than Cooper and Van Nistelrooy. We at least need to see if a better manager can do anything with these players.

Rudkin oversaw our peak but under his tenure he has consigned us back being a yoyo club (at best). He must be held accountable.
