Feels weird playing Spurs and Kane not scoring.

Bring Mads and Ndidi back into the team, couple of new signings and Coulibaly adding some competition for JJ and things might… might… just be ok!

This is key.

We really need a couple of signings that would make a difference to the starting line up (not just squad players) to have a chance of staying up.

I can’t see our ultimate destiny changing unless this happens

Even that’s harsh.

Yes he was marking Richarlson, but there’s only so much you can cover as a defender and he really didn’t have a chance to do anything to prevent the goal given the quality of the cross.

If you look anywhere for faults with the goal, it would have to be the amount of time and space allowed to Pedro Porro - BUT - that was partly due to having players out of sink positionally briefly due to the previous passage of play (for example Soumare was sat at left back, with Kristensen tracking an inside midfield runner briefly before the goal) so I wouldn’t rush to call anyone out here - I think in this instance the goal was more about good play from Tottenham.

Agreed, The Goal was all about the quality of the cross. Though Faes should have been more alert to Richarlson running off him. He was a little flat footed when the cross came in.

With Richarlson going for it with his head prevented the keeper from kicking at it.

I would'nt blame any of our players for the goal.

Maddison pulled out of today’s game as he was sore from the Europa match. Missed a quite lot of games for us, seems to be happening at Spurs too. His absence certainly helped us today - thanks Madders!

The kind of win that can swing things.

The ancient forward line did us no favours in the first half, but once we got in front it was handy having them on the pitch.

Some standout performances today and way more fight than I was expecting to see.

I actually thought we were really poor in the final 25 minutes, but managed to hang on due to how absolutely dreadful Spurs were. It was such a good time to face them.

Crazy what a difference a win and a few results going your way makes. Things don’t look as bleak as they did a week ago . Things can still change obviously but get a few players in and things may be ok .

i agree. but video chat and content where people talk about football is by any definition more popular than text chat and so people must find it more enriching/enlightening.

Well 2.2 million people watched Mrs Brown's Boys at Xmas, so I guess people don't have the power to know what's good for them like I do.

Richarlison loves a goal against us though!

Tottenham have enough of a buffer to make me think that they're not in this. If they were on 21 points rather than 24, I'd consider them to be in the relegation scrap. They were that bad.

Certainly the worst team we’ve played this season how flat and negative their fans were definitely helped us.

Wow, what a nice surprise to wake up to. Leicester certainly do like to put an opposition coach under pressure when there is an opportunity.  Great win for us and the lemon and sarse for Ange..

Tough games coming up including a fixture packed time due to cups could drag them in. But realistically they should be fine. Would love to be proven wrong though.

It’s two from three.

A much needed win 😅

Was really pleased with how we stood up defending today. Stuck to our game plan and it has paid off. I genuinely thought that Spurs never put anything together where you thought “they’re gonna score in a minute” it never felt like it was coming. Good displays from El Khannous who was absolute class, Soumare continuing to impress, some solid saves from Stolarcyzk along with some top tier time wasting/shithousing.

A win that should do wonders for our confidence and a performance for me that shows there is something there, there is something that can keep us up and they do seem to care.

You are correct, but they were truly dreadful today. I said at half time that any team with anything about them would be beating them.

I may have been caught up in the emotion so may be getting this wrong and misremembering, but did Winks not try and give the ball away about 3 times when we were hanging on? And with it being in dangerous areas too.

Quite sloppy from him when he's usually reliable with the ball. Perhaps fatigue kicking in but even so it's that kind of sloppinees that can sometimes lead to conceding goals.
