Instead of the free transfer market I would focus on loans.

If the rules haven’t changed we can have 4. Add to that the players coming back from loan and 2/3 promoted from the development squad, that’s about 10 coming in without spending anything.

Lower risk than getting permanent signings on big wages and could land some gems looking for a breakthrough

Don’t care what anyone says - Ings would score goals in the championship- coufal is rock solid as well but got no chance in getting him - I’d take Dawson as well for a year if we can shift coady

Ings would probably want a decent wage and highly doubt he's going anywhere for just a one year deal, so we end up in a situation with a striker not good enough for the prem if we go up on high wages.

Toffolo leaving Forest.

Been crap at Forest or not up to that standard. On a free and doubt other PL sides would look at him.

Would take him as competition for LT if the deal was right, and provided we shift one of our other full backs first!

I assumed Redmond and Shelvey had long since retired

Still going until they have had a 3 year deal with us on 100 k a week 😂

Obviously we don’t need him but pretty sure this was someone @Ric Flair suggested quite often.

Leuven should make an offer

Unfortunately we are well stocked in that position with Fatawu, Mavididi, Monga, Alves and McAteer - plus the two clowns Ayew and DCR. But one more wouldn't hurt on a free. I don't think he would break the bank.

Will have Wanya back too.. although he hasn't done much on loan so I'd imagine he'll be loaned out again

Would be a very good signing- he is decent - every time iv seen him looks good - a million miles better than the 2 clown left backs we have

Jorginho (midfielder),

Josh Brownhill (midfielder)

Crystal Palace
Jeffrey Schlupp (winger)

Fulham

Tom Cairney (midfielder),

Tottenham Hotspur
Sergio Reguilon (left back)

Not heard of most of the players out of contract but I'm sure there's some gems in there.

Of the players I've heard of and would realistically join (sorry KDB!), I think Tom Carney, Josh Brownhill and Jeff Schlupp make the most sense.

Not sure we need old players on the decline. Hopefully we have a summer like the last relegation when I'd never heard of Mavididi, Fatawu or Hermansen but they quickly established themselves.

Captain and played basically every game he was available for - missed a few through injury shortly before they sold him because they were desperate for money. A fringe player he definitely was not.

He’s a decent player. Only lives 20 mins from Seagrave too.

Apologies if it's been mentioned, but Fabianski (released by West Ham) would surely be the perfect backup for Stolarczyk, a Polish international with a huge amount of experience. At 40, you'd imagine he'd be okay with being a number 2.

I mentioned it. Couldn’t agree more. Sell Mads, get as much as we can. Get Fabianski in

Would be shocked if at 40 he left London to be a backup in Leicester. Think he stays in London for sure, maybe a backup at Brentford or Fulham or starting for QPR/Watford etc

Is there anyone available that could be an alternative up front, on a short term deal?

- Bamford about 1 in 3 at this level

- dennis started well but has dropped off but only 27

- anyone else?

I'd take both on short term deals until Jan...we're desperate.
