Referring to the ground as Filbert Way not King Power - I don’t know if he has done it before but if not, appeasement on overdrive!

Don't understand why you're all being so critical. Such a well written piece, demonstrating his passion for the cause. He comes across as such an articulate, well educated young man.

Evidently has the best interests of the club at heart. Can't believe we have fans questioning his motives. People have short memories around here. You do realise it wasn't that long ago we were playing League One football. You should all be so grateful for the last 10 years. If it wasn't for him and his family we'd still be playing the likes of Yeovil Town.

Just highlights the hypocrisy amongst our fans on this forum. Bet you'll all happily tuck into your free Doughnut and enjoy your Coconut drinks tomorrow.

Beat me to it

Playing Devil's Advocate here but there is nothing he could have written that would placate many on here?

There isn't.

But he's said **** all for a long time, and now because fans have finally started turning and getting a voice, he pops up again.

Just like when we got relegated.

Personally pleased with the reminder that it's mostly our responsibility as paying idiots to get us out of this mess, caused by our world class board.

"January was a challenging month for us in the transfer window, where our ability to strengthen was limited by our PSR position. We were very pleased to sign Woyo Coulibaly and we explored a number of options to make further additions to Ruud’s squad during the month, but the space available in our PSR calculations did not enable us to add the further quality we all felt would improve the team."

In other words:-

John has always been hopeless at shifting unwanted players out, so we lied to Ruud as well as Maresca.

This protest tomorrow could be big.

It will be interesting to see if Top is there tomorrow or will he go into hiding

Can’t wait for his lap of appreciation with his minions at the last home game of the season when we are languishing on 25 points( optimistic I know).

look forward to letting him know what I think of his programme notes and his dereliction of duty as our head honcho.

Lose-lose situation for him I don’t think there’s anything he could have said that would appease the fans.

He'll be there I expect. Sitting there stone-faced with muggins by his side.

Unless we win and then he'll lap up all the adulation by his bum-lickers around him.

It's actually an insult this narrative they've shifted to about failing to strengthen last month.

Fine we didn't have tens of millions, but the profit on Cannon was the equivalent of a £15m signing over 5 years and what both Top and Ruud fail to acknowledge is the loan market.

I could list off several players who went on loan which would only have a attracted a modest lon fee and that would have given us a better chance of the survival Top refers to as so essential for out future ambition.

Maybe they didn't want another Tete situation!
