They have had 10 fvckin weeks minimum to prepare a shortlist of exciting appointments of more than ONE name even if Rohl is proving to be difficult and we've faffed, and faffed, and faffed. Now we are down to the only names that were right in front of them in the first place - that coincidentally no one else wants either, O'Neill didn't even get the Norwich job he was interviewed for.

Time is up with this lot.

Only thing I'm holding onto is Dorsett says O'Neil 'a frontrunner', not 'the frontrunner' so there's still some hope!

Talksport said he wasn't a frontrunner but then they got it wrong on Russell Martin.

O’Neil managerial record.

100 games managed.

1.12 points per game.

Much to admire 🤨

He's only been in relegation battles which explains the ppg, but can he get 90+ points?

Actually don’t mind this appointment tbh.

He kept a Bournemouth team up during his first season as manager - yes, LCFC were relegated with a much better squad.

At Wolves he took the job a few days prior to the season starting with the squad having lost a number of key players including Neves, Moutinho, Coady, Traore, Collins and Jimenez and still finished 14th with more points that they managed the season prior.

He doesn’t seem to be able to kick on after that which is concerning but he will get LCFC promotion this season.

Absolutely ****ing pathetic. Unforgivably negligent to end up hiring someone we could've appointed 6 months ago.

Look at the turnaround in Wolves' fortunes since he left. Look at the turnaround even in Bournemouth's fortunes.

An absolute chancer who as others have said, will be completely eaten alive by this squad of overpaid cretins.

O'Neil, Wilder, Carrick - 3 completely uninspiring options. We may as well stick with Kingy if it's going to be one of these three. Does Kingy have his badges does anyone know?

Shaun Derry and Ian Burchnall will be delighted to get back to living in Nottingham again!

Kind of my point. He ticks no boxes other than cheap and right agent. Absolutely nothing on his CV suggests he’s got what it takes to get a club promoted and both clubs improved significantly when he left.

Just 2 out of 200 who voted in the poll, wanted O'Neil! Says it all, really!

And just 2 for Wilder!

Our Board have really got their finger on the pulse of Leicester City, haven't they?!

Theres no evidence  ‘he can do both’ though.

If we needed to grind out results to survive, he would be alright but where’s the evidence he can make a team play dominating attacking football? It’s a huge experiment.

At least cooper and dyche have shown they can flip the switch when possible. O’Neil is an experiment for what we need to do, it’s lazy, cheap and just an all round bizarre decision given the options available with a little effort or ambition

thoughts @The Bear?!?

Genuinely why can't Rohl just resign?

He will have a clause that says if he takes shoved job within x amount of time then his release clause still applies.

This is what I can't fathom.

He breaks contract and has to pay £1m, say, and we simply recompense him and add a signing on fee on top.

He even admitted in an interview he couldn't manage the bunch.

Shows they don't know anything about football.

Do you know if it was a TV or radio interview or news article. I’d like to see that as it is an incredible thing for a manager to say.
