Mods can we delete all the negative comments until the deal is done. We need to make sure Forest know they are getting a top quality full back.

Yes sorry he's world class. He's like Roberto Carlos on acid

Will be very useful in the Europa League. Had a very decent season in 23/24 at Bologna and will most likely go to a European club if he doesnt go back to the Premier League. He's not had a decent run the team and was only held back by minor  injuries. Plenty of untapped potential and future sell-on.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see him at Lyon in a couple of years time, when forest flip him for double the price they paid.

Either way, I’d sooner take the cash now, as like many other players still at the club, it’s time to move on, for the good of everyone.

Does this mean we get to sit on our high horse next season, telling any Forest fan who'll listen that we know best and  they don't understand how good he is?

Rumoured fee is £13m given his book value will be about £5.5m that would be £7.5m profit and could give us leeway to spend £30m - £35m

Where is this?

Him going to Forest and suddenly turning into a competent fullback will be the cherry on the shit sundae of our decline, I fear.

He's always had that fire, which would be incredibly endearing if he could match it with on pitch ability. As much as we all know he's garbage, I think I'll be a bit sick in my mouth if he suddenly turns a corner and becomes the new Stuart Pearce for them. Who is someone he was likened to when he first showed up here, before we realised two or three games in that he was nowhere near that level.

Like all players, they can't really be judged until they play for both inform and out of form teams.

Had he stayed for the Enzo season, I think we'd all have a very different view of him. Athletic, committed, quick and combative. Instead, we've seen him only in two absolute shit shows for seasons, confidence destroyed, environment stinks.

(Off topic, but I always went on and on about raheem Sterling's one yard open goal tap ins - and  misses -  for man city. I was never convinced. He goes to an average Chelsea and exposed as a clown)

With Justin gone, it feels like we need to keep Kristiansen unless we buy a replacement.

With the outgoings, it feels like any outgoings need to be balanced with incoming.

This is exactly the mentality which placed us in the mess we find ourselves in.

If we can recover funds for one of the many bang average players we have, we should jump at the chance.

I don't care about cover. Worst case a young lad gets an opportunity.

Looks like the club has adopted that mindset and it's several years too late.

Get rid while we can, scout replacements, and sign them when we can. It's the only way we'll properly reset and turn this tanker around.

The alternative is letting them go for pennies or nothing and having less money to replace them with.

Cash. The fvck. In. On pretty much anyone. And go again.

I give the club a lot of flack, but I'm pleasantly surprised with this newfound ability to flog bang average to poor footballers for multiple millions of pounds. Granted, it needs to be followed up by eventually actually signing decent players. If it's just an asset strip, I'm obviously less impressed. But if it means a few signings this window and more in following windows? That's fine.

The removal of the scenario involving the slow and painful regression that we were quite obviously going to observe while entertaining that playing squad? All for it.
